As a longtime supporter of MRFF and Mikey Weinstein, I’d like to thank you for your various interviews on behalf of religious freedom and freedom from religious zealotry. If it’s any help in the future, please feel free to let the world know that we, California Council of Churches IMPACT are supporters of Mikey’s work. We represent 1.5 million members within the mainstream Protestant communities of faith in CA, and we have as little enthusiasm for reconstructionist theocracy as he and you do. We’ve had our mainstream chaplains in the military receive as much pressure as the enlisted people, and it’s wonderful to have as articulate a spokesperson as you speak out against such pressure and coercion.
If citing our support lends credence to your affirmation that this is NOT an anti-Christian pogrom from Mikey and MRFF, please draw on our endorsement as evidence. We thank you so much for being present on this and other religious freedom issues. Whenever I know you’ll be on Rachel Maddow, I make sure to watch since you add a powerful dimension to this body of information.
