Military and Religious faith

Hello, Ms. Weinstein:

I see that Mikey name is not available oh well.  I assume from your last name that you are of the Jewish faith?  Nothing wrong there as the Jewish are Gods favored people and should be treated as such.  I have no argument there.

However, I do have an argument with Mikey (and, if you support his non-religious viewpoint, you as well) I am offended that you have chosen to omit / deny God and any reference to him in your call to action to remove any religious affiliation with the [supposed] military, to wit:

“When one proudly dons a U.S. Military uniform, there is only one religious symbol: the American flag.  There is only one religious scripture: the American Constitution.  Finally, there is only one religious faith: American patriotism. ~Mikey Weinstein”

I know you know whats on your website. I only quoted it because of the lack of religiousness.  People work well when a faith is followed, even marrying that faith to whatever endeavor one is embarked upon, including ones job, the government, and even within the military. The phrase nothing personal, its just business has permeated all facets of human lives and have driven God from our daily lives as well. This means, in essence, that people are allowed to do what, by faith, they should not do.  That is, lie as in campaign promises, cheat as is everyone for themselves, steal as in HEY! They wanted me to steal from them and if they didn’t they wouldn’t be so stupid, kill in wars not mandated by God, murder as in abortion of babies, covet others belongings, dishonor all those around them, commit adultery whenever they care to, hunger for greed and power at the expense of others, or bear false witness against neighbors, among other things. I know that you know this.  I just wonder why you choose to omit it from your life???

Your efforts are putting us even further away from God, essentially as you condone a Godless society through your efforts to eradicate religious faith. I pray for you and Mikey and all who work and therefore agree with you that you will see that God cannot be a separate, distinct entity from a person. God is a part of who we are as a species and cannot be separated from as we are created in His image: body, mind, and soul.

God bless you, Mikey, your staff, and your affiliates.
