Dear MRFF,
I want to thank you for sticking up for the constitution in your mission statement.
I am writing to inform you that my oldest son just graduated from boot camp at MCRD in San Diego on April 25th of this year. During the ceremony that is supposed to be free from religious coercion there was a prayer led by a chaplin and it was announced that the Marines “Spiritual Health” was one of the things that was worked on during the thirteen weeks of making my son a marine. My son is as gung-ho as any other marine out there and I do not believe that this blatant attempt to convert my son to the “Christian faith” will deter him, however it brings the question of what is the goal of the marines. Are they attempting to train “American” soldiers to defend the Constitution, or are the training “Christian” soldiers defending their “invisible man”?

Thank you for your time,
(name withheld)
