Congratulations and thank you so much for standing up!
We as a Nation have some remarkable abilities–both creative and destructive–and I feel the principles on which our country was founded favor constructive paths. However, the slope sickens the farther away we stray from those values and I feel we’re on a downward trajectory. I am greatly upset and saddened that this is being done in the name of Christianity, especially as it goes against that religions teachings.
Only integrity and courage combined can stop this slide, and I commend you and your organization on wonderful, important work. The value of your contribution extends far beyond just religion in the military–it’s about keeping alive the values which have brought us so far–and I can only hope others will join your cause.
