Dear Mikey:
I’m a two-tour AF Vietnam vet, living in Virginia. The only thing I saw in the 60’s was blatant racism. The religious aspect wasn’t as apparent as it is now. It’s interesting that I’ve followed your efforts for years without knowing much about the whole story. I happened to read the Truthout article today and it inspired me to write a few words of encouragement. I truly wish I could contribute more than these few words, but I am 68 and living on what is left of my savings and Social Security. I will protect you and your family if you should ever need my service in that regard. I can count my personal heroes on 10 fingers – you are among them. Thank you for doing what you’re doing and what you’ve done.

Guns and religion are far more dangerous than guns and alcohol.
