Dear Mikey:
We had another casualty two weeks ago. He was a friend of mine, PFC. (name withheld). He was 25 years old, had a wife and a 6 year old daughter waiting for him back home. Insurgents planted an IED that blew a 6 foot whole through the armor on his truck, blew 3 of the 400lbs armored doors clean off their hinges. Took another friend of mine’s legs off below the knee, blew the TC out of his seat. The insurgents tried to kill them all because they said it was God’s Will. Same reason they tried to kill me on my 23rd b-day with a rocket. I wonder if the Pope used the same excuse when he slaughtered thousands of Muslims during the crusades? Maybe Spain did too during the Inquisition. What the (expletive deleted) happened to religion Mikey?
