WOW, you know, you could switch-out the phase “the gospel” and replace it with “Islam”, and you’d have the SAME thing the Taliban’s using. This is depressing at best. This goes to show that ideologically, some, key word some, Dominist Evangelical Christians are no different than the people we’re fighting over here. I know I’ve said it before; I’d like to see how Evangelical Christians like this would behave if they were ever put into the same environment as the Fundamental Jihadists I’ve been fighting for the past 7 months. I’d bet my money the tables would be turned.
The minute we as Americans punish others for believing differently than ourselves is the minute we become no better than those we’ve fought and apposed for the last 2 centuries. John G. Riefenbaker once said, “Freedom is the right to be wrong, not the right to do wrong.” Give my regards to all the Joes that had the courage to come forward with this.
