Dear Mr. Weinstein:
I saw you on some show about the military scope with biblical references. I found your sight and quickly figured out that your foundation is really freedom “from” religion. I am curious if you have any belief system or are you an atheist? Then I want you to know that although I don’t know you, I love you in Christ and am praying for your salvation.
Wishing you the best,

Hello (name withheld),
Thanks for your note to MRFF.
Our President, Mikey Weinstein, has asked me to respond to your E-Mail as he is pretty busy right now. MRFF is currently addressing over 18,000 client case complaints from our young men and women in the armed forces relative to coercive and command centered Christian proselytizing.
I’m Rick Baker, a regional Coordinator for MRFF and I hope to answer your questions.
At MRFF we are engaged in promoting freedom of religion in the armed forces wherein that freedom guarantees religious choice. We have endeavored to provide freedom from religion only when religious choice is compromised and coercive methods to proselytize troops are employed.
I’m sure you are familiar with the term “Dominion Christianity” or “Christian Reconstructionism.” This is an extreme Christian movement that seeks to accelerate the end times and is attempting to create an “all Christian” military force which they feel is necessary to engage in combat at Armageddon. This extreme movement is not to be confused with the vast majority of moderate Christians who simply wish to practice their faith peacefully. Dominionists feel that all world populations must be converted to Christianity or be cast into the “lake of fire.” In a way, Dominionists are very much like Islamic Terrorists who believe all infidels should be killed. This is rather a chilling thought.
In addition to civilian on staff, MRFF has a number or former military officers, NCO’s and other ranks, who volunteer to assist our young folks that have found themselves in the grip of superior NCO’s and officers who have violated their constitutional right to freedom of religion. This is accomplished by employing various means to forcefully convert non-Christians to Christianity or commit existing Christians to a higher level of absolute obedience.
At MRFF, we are a mixed bag of Christian, Jewish, Protestant, Unaffiliated Religious, Non-Religious, even a few Muslims and other belief systems.
Despite what our Muslim friends have planned, one of our purposes is to make sure that our Global war on terrorism is not mistaken for a Christian crusade on Islam. That is why we participated in exposing the Trijicon Gun Sight company’s unconstitutional stamping of Christian scripture on their optical sights. The sights were mounted on military rifles which were mostly used to shoot Muslims. This set off quite a stir and our enemies used that to recruit even more terrorists.
Your kind thoughts and prayers for our salvation are most welcome. We can use any help we can get. Also, if you have time, you might want to say a prayer to change the hearts of Dominion Christians who are, this very day, violating the First Amendment rights of many of our young military members and service academy cadets and mocking true Christians everywhere.
Sincerely,
Rick Baker
Regional Coordinator
MRFF
