No wonder this country’s going in the toilet! With organizations such as yourself, and then calling yourself patriots and or soldiers? Your no better than that communist organization that calls itself the ACLU.

Very poor use of the courts to forward an anti christian agenda.

Go back to your history books and find out where this country came from.

Hi (name withheld)

I see your mind’s pretty well set on casting MRFF as the villain, when in fact the real villains here are those who would violate not only the Constitution but their sacred oaths to uphold it.

A cursory reading of the Supreme Court decisions on the separation of church and state will inform you that such a prayer luncheon is illegal. A military official may not favor, advance, prefer, elevate or proselytize one religion over another or religion over non-religion. The Superintendent of the US Air Force Academy, Gen. Gould, in his zeal to declare his faith has compromised the entire compliment of cadets and permanent station staff.

It our sworn duty to defend all members of the armed forces from coercive and command influenced proselytizing. In this particular case the prayer luncheon is simply an indoor Christian tent revival hosted by a Vietnam War Hero turned psychotic Dominion Christian. Lt. McClary’s presentation is totally Christian evangelical which, under the circumstances of its presentation, is prohibited under law. In addition the Lt. has been wearing his Marine Uniform to proselytize exclusive Christian beliefs in his appearances although he is no longer in the Marines. This is also forbidden under law and the UCMJ..

As for our being patriots, I can assure you that many members of our staff and volunteer contingent are military veterans a percentage of which are combat veterans. I, am a former Air Force Officer and twice wounded rescue pilot with two combat tours in Vietnam. So please refrain from casting aspersions on us.
It appears to me that it is you who are part of an anti-American, anti-Constitution movement.

At your request, I went back to my history books to find out where this country came from. This is what I found out:

America was founded as a secular, pluralistic nation, in which all religions may flourish but none dominate. It is founded on a secular constitution that contains not one word about being a Christian Nation or reference to Jesus or God. Perhaps one more interested in truth might have already determined that.

I’m afraid you have let someone sell you a bill of goods on that account and have bought into a false sense of Christian national supremacy. You really must start thinking for yourself.
In closing let me say that we did not make poor use of the courts to forward and anti-Christian agenda. We made good use of the courts to forestall an anti-constitution agenda.

If you would care to become more informed on the realities of this situation, I invite you to visit militaryreligiousfreedom.org for further enlightenment.
