I am a friend of Casey’s and his former USAFA classmate. You took us out to dinner our freshman year after Jewish services. I have been following your work closely over the years and finally asked Casey for your email to personally thank you.
Thank you for being a voice for so many men and women in the armed forces who are unable to speak out. The military is a better place today because of your actions and now many have found the courage to stand for what they believe in. Last year, after reading one of your letters I looked at my wife and said “I am going to law school.” Your writing, use of the legal system, and the global response to your words was incredible. I am happy to let you know that as a result of this inspiration I was recently admitted to Berkeley Law and will be starting in August.
Thank you for the personal inspiration that helped shape my future and thank you for all the work you are doing which touches so many.
