Mikey,

This latest from DFHC (USAF Academy Chaplain’s Office) is what I mean about USAFA not taking the USAF Ch. of Staff Gen. Schwartz’ directive seriously. They send out a flier to Dist P promoting a fundamentalist
Baptist minister’s “Five Love Languages” seminar, and specifically claim that is in compliance with the Chief of Staff’s directive of 1 Sep 11. Good on them that they take it seriously! But why doesn’t a memo on compliance with the Establishment Clause of the US Constitution, from the top officer of the
most powerful military force on the planet, get the same treatment? Why does a flier for a “marriage and family” seminar by a fundamentalist Baptist minister get wider distribution than a Chief of Staff’s memo? As far as I know, the Chief of Staff’s ground-breaking directive of “Religious Neutrality” was not sent to Dist P, and I’ve been checking those pretty carefully. Sigh.
