I’ve known you for many years now, and as your friend, an ’04 USAFA grad, and an active duty Captain in the AF I still find it incredibly hard to believe that you and your cause are so persistently vilified and in such complete view of the public. I am mystified at the AFA’s attempt to both project core values as the flagship of the AF officer corps, and so voraciously discriminate against groups that don’t ‘fit the mould’. As the military has done for so many years, USAFA needs to be a place that recognizes different beliefs with open arms, even before the rest of the country is ready to do so. I am saddened at the thought of so many cadets being surrounded by leadership that supports the exclusion of non-mainstream religious beliefs in Academy sanctioned events. Obviously they are in need of a reminder as to which freedoms they are supposedly fighting to defend.

Keep fighting the good fight – you know you have my support as always.
