To Whom It May Concern:

I am not sure what or who you are supporting … Satan, perhaps?

Lt. Col. Reyes, chaplain, a Man of God, was doing his job when your organization saw fit to attack and criticize him for the article he wrote entitled, “”No Atheists in Foxholes: Chaplains Gave All in World War II.”

Shame on you.

I will pray for all of you because it is obvious you definitely need it, and may God have mercy on your souls.

I do not see any purpose in donating to your organization, now … or ever.

Hi (name withheld),

My name is Rick Baker and I am a former Air Force Officer and Rescue Pilot, having served two combat tours in Vietnam. I say this only to qualify myself for an opinion on this subject.

I am also an MRFF Volunteer and pitch in to make sure everyone who writes gets a prompt reply.

As you are probably aware, Satan comes in many forms. He also causes a lot of second hand problems. I don’t think, however, he’s involved in the subject of our conversation.

MRFF’s big problem with Chaplain Reyes, is his insensitivity to the many fighting men and women in the armed forces who are Atheists. Over 13,000 members are reported to belong to the Military Association of Atheists & Freethinkers.

By repeating the phrase, “There are no Atheists in Foxholes,” he demeaned the many brave young Atheists who fought and died in Americas conflicts, including those who perished in fox holes.

The Chaplain’s insensitivity is not unique however, as we have discovered that a growing sect of Christianity, known as “Dominion Christians” has infiltrated positions of rank in the armed forces and are actively engaged in command centered and coercive Christian-based proselytizing. This is a Constitutional violation and also violates the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

MRFF is engaged in ensuring that each member of the armed forces receives the freedom of religion they are guaranteed by the constitution and are free from coercive proselytizing by superiors.

We are not anti-Christian only anti-Dominionist and they are the only group we have any interest in monitoring and correcting when necessary.

We are currently addressing over 34,000 complaints received from our young men and women in the military as to this coercive proselytizing. Fully 96% of these complainants are self identified Christians, Protestants and Catholics.

Your donation goes to further the cause of religious freedom in the military where it has suffered many years of rigid and false Christian influence.

Thank you for your concern and I hope this answers your questions.

Rick Baker
Capt. USAF (Ret)
