Dear MRFF,

As a military spouse I am so tired of organizations like yours. All you are promoting is hate. If there is something you don’t like, DONT LOOK AT IT. How dare you tell me what is right and wrong. My husband and son fight for our freedom of expression. And yours. You don’t see me yelling and pouting every time something is offensive to me. You and your organization are both. God made this country and because of people like you he is turning his back. Funny, when things get so bad, who do you turn to? May God Bless you. And I will pray for your soul. It is not looking good for you.

Dear (name withheld),

What a cute name.

As a military spouse one would hope you’d understand the need to protect the rights of the men and women in the military’s freedom of belief and freedom of religion. It surprises me a bit that you don’t. If you did, you’d understand that no one here is telling you “what is right and wrong.” It’s actually the U.S. Supreme Court that said, ” government may not advance, promote, recommend or proselytize one religion over another or religion over non-religion.”

See, what surprises me is that you don’t understand that that is what your husband and son are fighting for: a country that does not allow its government or any branch thereof to promote one religion over others, even if most of the people adhere to it. And here you are, yelling and pouting, to use your words, because you so misunderstand our position and have decided it’s offensive.

God is turning his back? Heavens, I can assure you that the 90+% of our members/supporters who are Christians don’t believe that at all. They believe, as the law says holds, that religious displays are wonderful when put up by the proper people in the proper places. But they can’t be established or endorsed by the government.

Our souls are in fine shape, thanks. So if you’re going to pray for anything, may I suggest enlightenment?

Best,
