    Dear Col. Lawrence,

First of all let me thank you for your years of service to our country while in the military! I do however need to disagree with you about your article concerning what is wrong with the Republican leadership, I feel like you are looking at a speck in the eye of Republicans while blantanly dis-regarding the log that is in the eye of Democrat leadership.

If this is the only thing wrong you find with Republican leadership concerning Dr. Ben Carlson’s remarks about having a Muslim president, then what is the big to do about it. This is just another blowing out of proportion by the liberal media concerning his remarks and without asking further what he may of meant by them. Now, I am not going to suppose that I know what he was thinking at the time, but let’s just say for the sake of it, that maybe his remarks came from if you took a comparison side by side of the Constitution of the United States with what is written in Sharia Law. If a Muslim president was going to put Sharia Law above the Constitution then yes, a Muslim should indeed not become president!! However, if they were going to say I will follow all the laws of the Constitution above what Sharia Law may say then he could become president.

Instead of seeing what is wrong with Republican leadership let’s compare what is right with Republican leadership compared to Democrat leadership. Republican leadership supports and defends traditional marriage of one wife and one husband, they are pro-life and supports the right of the unborn to live, they are pro 2nd amendment, that everyone has the right to bear arms, they are pro-Israel and supports Israel’s right to defend themselves against all enemies foreign and domestic, and lastly they are pro freedom of religion. Now let’s look at Democratic leadership, well to start, at the last Democratic convention, they voted God and Israel out of their platform, they are for baby homocide (185 Democrat congressmen voted against the defunding of Planned Parenthood) which is nothing but a murder mill of innocent life, they are anti-Israel, even their leader Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is a self hating Jewess, who only promotes being a Jew when it is politically expedient for her to do so, even she is anti-Israel. It just confounds my mind how any Jew can be against their biblical homeland!! Then there is good ole Hillary Clinton, who sacrificed the life of our ambassador to Libya and 3 Navy SEALS, and then lied about it, and now had her own private server which was hacked by a foreign country and conveniently deleted over 10,000 emails who she said was only about cooking and such, really, come on Hillary, you can and do lie better than that. Oh, then there is HIllary’s assistant who has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood! How convenient, how a Muslim with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood can sway Hillary to be against Israel.
So, Col Lawrence, please reconsider your objections about Republican leadership compared to the other side and decide whose side you are really on?!!

Yeshua Warrior. What is wrong with the Republican Party when they fight against affordable healthcare, raising the minimum wage, defunding education, weakening labor laws, environmental laws, customer rights laws, etc? They have not been practicing their so called Christians beliefs when it comes to helping the poor, the homeless, the sick, practicing a social, economic form of Darwinism at the expense of destroying God’s world.

Republicans have made it clear that they will not work with anyone who belongs to a different ethnic, racial, economic, political, and social background. They have not done anything right for the last 35 years.

YM, Bush, Jr. and Karl Rove delete over 5 million emails and there were more attacks and deaths at the US embassies and consulates during Bush, Jr.’s watch and yet the Republicans did not do any kind of investigations plus the Bush Administration and Republican Congress refused to increase the budget of the State Department to improve embassy security. Bush Jr. seem to put Christian law above the US Constitution by give taxpayers money and legal aid to Christian organizations and I did not have any say in the matter of how my tax money is suppose to be spend: http://www.thirdworldtraveler.com/America/W's_Christian_Nation.html
