 Mr. Weinstein,

Thank you for taking my call a few minutes ago, sir

I did not expect that you would actually answer your own phone yourself. So it was a surprise to hear it was actually you saying “hello”. Sir I am writing on behalf of 7 fellow USAF officers besides myself. Please keep all of our personal information confidential.

Here’s our problem sir. A very short time ago our new (unit  designation withheld) Commander held his first official staff meeting. He opened this meeting by telling all of us on his staff that he wanted us to get to know “exactly the kind of person” that he is.

He then told us and I quote as closely as I can, “Understand this. I am always a devoted Christian first and foremost. I was brought to Christ at the Air Force Academy and walk with him daily. I am a family man second and thirdly an Air Force Officer. I’m not saying that you need to be like me but I have found that specific order in my life to be the best path for success. And I emphasize the word specific. I want you all to know who I am and how I see my walk in this world. I want all of you to succeed as I have.”

He then told us he’d be starting all of his staff meetings in silent devotional prayer. He asked us all to bow our heads and to join him. He didn’t say how we had to pray. He didn’t have to. What he had just said to us all made that pretty clear.

Sir I’m a Christian and the other 7 USAF officers I write to you on behalf of are too. 4 of us are also USAFA grads including me. We all know what our new Commander said and did is totally wrong. None of us want to confront him about it because we will be screwed from the get go by him. We asked our (2nd-in-command job title withheld) to do something but he also doesn’t want to pick a fight he says “none of us can win.”

I appreciate your advice about filing an IG or MEO complaint but our Commander will find out who did it one way or the other.

We need the help of the MRFF please here.  Please do not give up any of our names sir. Thank you for this consideration.

 V/R,

(USAF officer’s name, rank, AFSC, unit and military installation all withheld)

If they were all truly Christians then they would have no problem in what he said, since they would have to agree that God’s order is God, family, country in that order. These officers need to repent before God!!

  2. Dr. Arthur Frederick Ide January 22, 2016 at 3:47 pm

Yeshua Warrior is no more a Christian than is this unnamed commander. Neither seem to be familiar with the words of Jesus. Matthew 6:6: But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. Those who feel they have to proclaim they are christians usually are not, but following the Codex Theodosious. The commander should be demoted and reprimanded for trying to force his lifestyle on everyone.

Particularly horrifying. My Battalion CO in Viet-Nam was about a fierce a fundamentalist Christian as you can find (as was I, and I’m still in contact with him to this day) but we NEVER did any god-talk during duty hours or when it might imply some command intent.

  4. G January 22, 2016 at 6:14 pm

YW, why do they need to repent if they did not do anything wrong?

” God’s order is God, family, country in that order.”

Yeah, YW, direct that comment to the Marines since they put their organization first and God last (what is that famous or infamous Marine saying?). You could accuse the USMC of blasphemy and violating the 1st Commandment since they put their own organization first above everyone else.

YW, do you think all those babies that died at stillbirth, died seconds, hours, days, weeks, or months after they were born had a chance to repent because they were not true Christians?

  5. Yeshua Warrior January 22, 2016 at 7:04 pm

    Mr. G,

Babies do not have repent since they are not conscious yet of committing sin and I believe they going directly to heaven.

Nobody knows why babies die at still birth or seconds after being born, part of it though I feel is because we live in a fallen and sinful world and our bodies are subject to the consequences of sin going back to our original parents Adam and Eve.

  6. Taosword January 22, 2016 at 7:31 pm

The chaplains use to fly out to our temporary landing zone the next day after screw ups got some of us killed, along with the Battalion Commander to pin medals on us and preach some BS about the righteousness of the Vietnam War. Many of us had the thought of shooting down their chopper before it landed. Only a thought mind you, but that was how some of us felt about that war while we were there pretty much against our will feeling betrayed by the righteous Christian US politicians and military leaders and all those who supported them. We used to say with black humor that we were killing Commies for Christ. There is no draft but some things have not changed and those who buy the Armagedon prophecy and are in positions of leadership in the military are down right dangerous to world peace and an insult to the wise teacher and Prince of Peace, Jesus who rallied against the violence and brutality of the Old Testament of the old religious teachers and Romans. Our evolution into the separation of church and state in our system of government is being threatened. Thank you for your work.

YW, are not we born with original sin when we come into this world as stated by the Christian faith? Why should we (including babies) should be cursed with the sin of Adam and Eve when they (Adam and Eve) committed it. Again, it is like blaming the workers for the failure of the companies when they had no say in the matter or blaming the victim for committing the crime not the criminal.

You have not answer my question about God’s plan for all those dead babies.

  8. Yeshua Warrior January 23, 2016 at 5:00 pm

    Mr. G,

Yes everyone is born with original sin and why, because Adam and Eve’s sin affected all of mankind from then on. They were perfect before they sinned, but once they disobeyed God, then every human from then on suffers from the same disobedience towards God.

Your analogy cannot work on the eternal plane. You are trying to take a finite position and trying to apply it to an infinite God.

  9. Yeshua Warrior January 23, 2016 at 5:04 pm

    Mr. Taosword,

Since Jesus is the second person of the Trinity, then he was involved with God during the Old Testamental period when they told the early Israelites to wipe out the Caananites and the others enemies of Israel. When Jesus returns, he will wipe out all the nations armies that have amased to attack Jerusalem and the Jewish people. So, Jesus never rallied against the brutality of the OT.

  10. G January 23, 2016 at 7:09 pm

“Your analogy cannot work on the eternal plane. You are trying to take a finite position and trying to apply it to an infinite God.”

    Please pray tell why not?

“because Adam and Eve’s sin affected all of mankind from then on. They were perfect before they sinned, but once they disobeyed God, then every human from then on suffers from the same disobedience towards God.”

Again, why should we (especially babies) have to pay for what Adam and Eve did (if they ever existed in the first place)? If they were perfect, would they not be gods themselves since God is all perfect and all knowing?

  11. G January 24, 2016 at 8:19 am

“Your analogy cannot work on the eternal plane. You are trying to take a finite position and trying to apply it to an infinite God.”

YW, you cannot use the Bible to explain let alone teach the laws of gravity, chemistry, math, physics, medicine, anatomy of the human body to a bunch of science, math, medical, chemistry, engineering students, etc. You Christians are trying to take a book from an infinite God (if one does exist) and trying to apply it on a finite matter in school. I might remind you that the Ancient Egyptian were the first ones to create a body about the different parts of the human body and were highly literate to document their research and knowledge, they were could read and write despite the fact that they were not Christians and were worshipping different gods?

  13. G January 24, 2016 at 5:29 pm

YW, you have not answered my questions about trying to use the Bible as a finite school textbook in order to teach the various sciences and math disciplines to upcoming future chemists, scientists, engineers, etc. God did not create all these medical and technical advancements. It was done by people who had the curiosity, willingness to experiment, come up with scientific hypothesis, and do a lot of tried and errors before being able to get the right answers.

Many of the books in the Bible were written long after Christ’s death so we have no idea when these books were written since there are no independent sources to validate them. Furthermore, we have no many different versions of the Bible, we don’t know which is the correct one, since the wording varies from one Bible to the next. I think you should stop reading the Bible and read something that will enlighten your mind. If the Bible is such an important book, it would have solved a lot of the world’s problems a long time ago, and there would have been peace on Earth and goodwill to each other.

What in God’s name and in Hell’s name (if they do exist) does your answer to Mr. Taosword’ remark regarding his experience in Vietnam? Funny, I don’t recall Christ coming down when the Romans conquered the Jews or when the Jews were sent into Babylonian captivity?

Bottom line: Yeshua Warrior–and others like him–is scared.

  16. Ted Schiffman January 29, 2016 at 7:10 am

It is comepletely daft and risible that any verbiage about religion, Jesus, and the Bible is to be considered real, trustworthy and true at this point in time is breathtakingly insane. Those remarks and comments written by mostly uneducated and illiterate people is clearly reflected in their language, grammar, complete lack of reason, education and a delusion of childlike nonsense.
The fact that there is any influence and indoctrination whatsoever in the military and in the academies is beyond unconscionable.
Christianity has been and continues to be the bane of civilization, not Islam even though they are working hard to equal it.
Read from intelligent sources and eradicate ancient myths, superstition and fiction.

  17. Yeshua Warrior January 29, 2016 at 7:43 am

    Dear Mr. Schiffman,

The bible has been proven very reliable and accurate which has been shown through more and more archaeological findings in Israel.

  18. gwaltluv January 29, 2016 at 8:48 am

Over the last 30 years mainstream archaeologists have taken the position that there is very little archaeological evidence that anything in the bible is real. No Exodus. No King Solomon. No Noah. No Moses. No evidence for a historical Jesus even, though he could have been a real person, aside from the magic tricks that he might have performed. Plus, that’s a very disingenuous thing to say, “The bible has been proven very reliable and accurate.” Which part are you claiming is reliable? We can only address one part of a claim at a time. In what way are you claiming something to be reliable or accurate? The Bible is historical fiction, so if there is something or some place written in the Bible that is historical doesn’t make the entire thing real, especially the supernatural fantasy parts.

    Dear gwaltluv,

You are a poor blind soul, may God have pity and mercy on you!!

There was a real pass that was used in the Battle of Mischmas in Ancient Israel and again in World War I so, yes, I believe that part of the Bible is true; however, when it comes to an existence of a God and Jesus Christ, the rest of the Bible is garbage: https://readtherevelation.wordpress.com/2014/07/31 /the-battle-of-michmash-in-bible-and-world-war.

I also believe in the Bible being look at from a soldier’s point of view when it comes to analyzing battles and tactics in Israel and applied in the battles of yesterday and today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPZ5nZfqia0. Other than that, the Bible saying about the existence of God is a bunch of cow dung.

  21. G January 30, 2016 at 10:39 am

I believe that some parts of the Bible are real when you studied it from the perspective of a soldier when it comes to studying military tactics of yesterday and today.

Other than that, the Bible proving evidence of the existence of God is nonsense.
