Every day that this office spends on active duty is a blemish on the calling of officership. Immediate resignation, and demotion to rank held before appointment as Dean. No questions will be taken.

I believe the legal term for what this woman did is “perjury”, is it not? I certainly hope the Pentagon fixes its current cranial-rectal inversion issues and finally does something to stop the goings on at USAFA and other parts of our military.

In point of fact, the selection of Rebbetzin Jungreis was in consultation with, and at the behest of the Scott Chapel. Protocol and chain of command issues require that the formal invitation be extended through the Wing, as the National Prayer Breakfast is a Wing event, not unlike the National Prayer Breakfast that the President attended and spoke at today. Rebbetzin Jungreis will be speaking on a generic theme, “Spiritual Resiliency Amidst Life’s Turmoil.” She will allude to her own earl childhood experiences as a Holocaust victim, and share her insights as to how one can derive spiritual strength from life’s ordeals. She will not be discussing the issue of intermarriage, nor is she in the habit of excoriating her hosts or military leadership. She will be speaking in non-faith specific lexicon in effort to reach a multi-cultural and religiously pluralistic military audience. Attendance is purely voluntary.

I am an Academy grad. USAFA is supposed to be a place where you learn. This mistake was made by a freshman (in other words, he has not been there very long), and it was an honest mistake. Yes, the freshman was wrong, but the commander counseling the freshman did exactly what he SHOULD have done. If commanders were to turn every mistake into a discipline issue at the Academy, not only would they quickly run out of cadets and future officers, but they would be missing out on opportunities to counsel the people they lead and actually teach them something.

This freshman will NOT do this again. Why is that not good enough? Using “this should have been a discipline issue” is just trying to create problems when this is an example of positive measures taken to fix the problem.

Would the writer of that internet comment please remove himself or herself from any and all things devised, invented, discovered, or produced by anyone Jewish or of Jewish heritage or origin, she/he would be bereft of internet, computer, cell phone, and more. This action is little less than an assault on Free Speech, hidden by the usual left-wing shrouds of make-believe bigotry and religious intolerance. Boykin had expressed that he did not mean to insult Muslims beforehand, was not expected to spout Islamophobia at the West Point event, and has an enviable military career. If the tables had been reversed and the speaker would have been a Muslim or atheist speaking about the perils of right-wing Christian militias in the USA, no doubt that MRFF would have pee’ed their panties in joy! All in all, a loss for the First Amendment.
