Mikey Weinstein, the Air Force Academy graduate and former White House attorney leading efforts to end proselytizing in the military, has been nominated for a John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award.
Ilene Proctor, a spokeswoman for Weinstein, said Wednesday that she did not know who nominated Weinstein for the award, but that “they have accepted the nomination."

"ARMOR OF GOD" COIN SOLD IN MILITARY TIMES-OWNED STORE

If you go to any of the Military Times sites (Army Times, Navy Times, etc) there is a prominent link on the top of the page featuring their Marketplace. It's on this page that the Military Times-owned site Mil-Mall is featured heavily.
It's on the Mil-Mall site that the "Armor of God" commemorative coin is for sale. This coin is featured in a list between a Korean War Veterans coin and a Department of Defense/Pentagon coin.
The Armor of God coin displays the words directly from Ephesians 6:11-13, in addition to phrases such as "Put on the Full Armor of God" and "Defend the Faith." In addition, the reverse of the coin details the various parts of the "Armor of God" such as the Sword of the Spirit, the Helmet of Salvation, and the Shield of Faith.

These internationally recognized triumphs validate the hard work we’ve put into the cause and only strengthen our resolve to continue. This newsletter highlights both of these newsworthy accomplishments.
