Retaining this sign is not a violation of the Constitution; censoring it would clearly be a violation of the 1st Amendment.

Either take down the sign or move it to the base chapel church.

You guys are bunch of morons. This fight against religion has to stop. I bet you all take off Christmas. Get over it. If it was a muslim holiday you wouldn’t say a damn thing now.

There is no SEPARATION OF CHURCH IN STATE. IT SAYS IT WILL NOT ESTABLISH A CHURCH. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE MILITARY HELPING CHILDREN AND CALLING IT CHRISTMAS.

YOU LIBERAL IDIOTS WON’T HELP ANYBODY BUT LOVE TO STEAL THE MONEY FROM THOSE WHO MAKE. LEAVE THIS COUNTRY IF YOU DON’T LIKE OUR FREEDOMS. I HOPE YOU ALL ROT IN HELL OR THE AFTERLIFE.

Mr. Kowal, it is you conservatives who have stolen the money for the last 35 years through wage theft, paying people a less than a decent wage, corporate tax breaks and subsidies, stealing people’s pensions, not paying their share of taxes, hiring illegal workers and paying them underneath the table or not paying them at all.

My answer to you about leaving the country, is NO! I pay my taxes, I was born here and unless you are a Native Americans, the overwhelming number of Americans came here as immigrants legally, illegally, brought here as indentured servants, as slaves, or force to come here for various reasons, so buzz off.

There are some religions that don’t believe in Hell or the afterlife. Comedian Bill Burr asks some Finnish people who were Lutherans about their religious perspective of the afterlife and they respond that you just be plain dead and that is that. Burr asks why is that and they asks him did Burr know what he was doing before he was born and he replied no, so the Lutherans said that if you don’t know what your life was before you were born, you don’t know what it your life is when you are dead.

BTW, Mr. Kowal, I don’t like it when American wealthy people and corporations pay little or no taxes at all; yet, they get access to our government politicians and services, use our natural resources, use our public transportation system, use our ports and waterways, use our schools for their research and development projects, and get tax breaks and subsidies. You think about that.

Starting a debate with insults means whatever comes after is pure crap. Look it up. It may even have it’s own law (i.e. Godwin or Poe come to mind).

Excellent points G – I’m not fond of folks who cry ‘Merica Exceptionalism but hide moneys so they don’t have to pay taxes. This is on top of the subsidies they receive for being a corporation.

The constitution and supporting documentation (the good staff here at MRFF have REAMS of the stuff if you are curious) state the government MUST remain neutral in the case of religion. Everyone who states differently wants their faith (and only theirs) to be considered the only one with rights.

The world is changing and those who can not see it in their heart to share what we have now is doomed to lose it all. I’m not even a soothsayer to say such things. I read history. Humans have been here before. Wish everyone could remember what was learned last time so we don’t have to repeat the lesson again. #tiredofwatchinglemmingsgooverthecliff
