Hey youngmarine,

You don’t have me fooled with your numerous fake email addresses and your attempt to look like a bad speller.

If you are truly a Marine then you have to have a least a GED. Stupidity and the Marines don’t go together.

So, which is it? Are you a Marine or didn’t you pass the third grade?

Don’t you worry about Mikey because he isn’t going to hell.

“For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Romans 11:25-29

God hasn’t changed his mind about the “apple of His eye.” They are still His “beloved.”

“The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.” Numbers 14:18

Tell me exactly which one of Mikey’s relatives was responsible for supposedly killing Jesus? Do you know because not all of the Jews were for this?

Let’s pretend that a distant relative was involved. That person’s third and fourth generations are long gone. God doesn’t pass on the “sins of the fathers” to His “beloved” forever.

You, on the other hand, have placed yourself above God and his generational conditions and are still holding any Jewish person responsible.

“Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” Genesis 12:3

Because of the anti-Semitic garbage you have thrown at Mikey, God has already placed you under a curse.

“But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day of Judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” Matthew 12:36-37

You will be held accountable for every anti-Semitic word you speak against His “beloved” and be condemned.

So, it looks like you are the one that is under a curse and will be condemned – not Mikey.

Get on your knees and repent before it is too late.

All my life I have been a part of the military culture.  I have attended literally hundreds of official military functions that included the Missing Man ceremony.  And not one of them, at any base, installation, or location, ever, ever included a Bible on the POW table.  This is a recent addition by some organization or misguided person and NEVER was a part of any ceremonies I witnessed over many years.  The claim that this ceremony has always included a Bible is flat out wrong.  They cannot prove that this was the history of the POW ceremony because it never happened.

Young Marine… I’ll bet.

I think you have to demonstrate a reasonable amount of intelligence to join the Marines, at least you did in my day, so I think you lie when you pretend to speak for or represent the Marines.

On the other hand there is no intelligence requirement involved with becoming a demonstrably stupid anti-Semite. For that, you clearly qualify.

The only other falsehood I can discern in this message is the one that suggests you have a wife and friends. Good luck with that.

However, since you mention Jesus Christ, use the word Savior and make reference to Christ’s gospel, it would appear that you also pretend to be a Christian. That clearly is sinfully false.

Let me suggest you wash your brain out with soap. Strong soap.

Good Day, “Young Marine” —

Sakes alive, you have got to be trolling for a reaction because I can’t imagine any sincere Christian who would send such a bigoted, nasty, hateful message. Bless your heart! For what it’s worth, I am a Christian myself, in addition to being an MRFF supporter and a USAF veteran.
At any rate, it’s not true that everybody hates us. My experience is that the worst hate comes from a small percentage of my fellow Christians who wrongly believe that they are entitled to actively promote their faith anytime, anyplace, and in any manner. They(and you, if you agree with them) are wrong, of course. What you are doing is to actively work against the principles of our Constitution.
So if you hate us because we rightly challenge your unconstitutional behavior, we can live with that. Thanks for caring enough to let us know how you feel.

Dear A$&hole who wrote the above:

Didn’t the said bible tell you Jesus was a Jew. Let’s either do away with the bible at these government displays or add what we personally represents or views. I’ll put out “god is not Great” by Hitchens.

  2. Tom O

Do these “evil Jews killed Jesus” people ever think about their own Christian belief that God the Father sent Jesus here to die for our sins, and thus the few Jews who were actually involved in killing Jesus were carrying out God’s will?

  3. Rev Bob

    Pastor Joan,
I am shocked that you are so sure that Mikey will not be going to hell, it seems you do not know the Word very well or have seen the verse where Christ Himself said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life, NO man comes to the Father but through me” – John 14:6 or Acts 4:12 – “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” referring to the name Jesus. So, according to the Word itself, it already condemns Mikey unless he repents and calls on the name of Jesus for salvation. Just because he is Jewish does not give him a free ride to heaven. I think maybe you should get on your knees and repent for preaching a false gospel. I am very interested in hearing back from you Pastor Joan regarding the verses I just shared with you.

Constitution does not tell Americans that they cannot have children or that they can have children. Likewise, it does not tell Americans that a Bible cannot or can be on POW table. In both cases, it is not the Constitution but a general knowledge of the significance of the Bible or children in the lives of those involved that determines the decisions. It is not a falsehood that the Bible knowledge played a significant role in hard times of many veterans especially those in prisons held by enemy as POW.

  5. Rev Bob

    Amen J!!

  6. Rev Bob

    Pastor Joan,
I am calling you out, come debate me here on what it takes one to receive eternal life, sola scriptura, which means scripture only.

Come out from your cut and pasting and then running and defend your position using scripture only.

    I will be waiting!

  7. Joe Odom

The wheel goes round and round. The good “Rev”, relying on his full and complete religious education from “Cleb and Hank’s School of Old Time Religion and 1st Grade Reading Comprehension Academy” – probably “With Honors”!.

Rev Joan has repeatedly answered your droll “call out”. This is not a bar fight – you need to attend regularly, take notes and try not to get all butt hurt when you are called out for being such a twit.

Certainly, if you were an HONORABLE “Rev”, I should think that you would enlighten yourself to the “Nostra Aetate”. Message boards are not for education, but to point the willfully ignorant to the right direction. After you understand the NA and it’s follow-ons – send a crayon printed card to Cleb and Hank and ask for your chickens back. You got skunk-wallered!

    Have a wonderful day!

Joe – MRFF Contributor for many years – just ‘cuz they are the ONLY one’s doing the “Constitution’s Work”!

  8. Joe Odom

Ooops… I knew it was Pastor Joan, not Rev Joan – but “the communication took place”. Excuse me good lady 😉

  9. Joe Odom

To Tom O from above: That question has been asked by youngsters in bible camp as often as the question “doesn’t Africa seem to fit quite perfectly into that bit on South America” (it’s called “Plate Techtonics” for those who have a science phobia)… anyway Tom, good on you bringing that up! Now, all we have to do is wait for the glassy eyed automatons to be rebooted while looking for the fractionally few that exhibit “independent and critical thinking skills – they are going to be thrown out soon anyway, we may as well give them a home!

Maybe we can start a movement! ((Sorry, just listened to the Anniversary edition of Alice’s Resturant”)

For me, I will go back to throwing the Nostra Aetate at all the haters of jews (maybe I can get someone to re-write it with words that have no more than 2 syllables). Then again, if you really want a rise – see their Johns 14:6 or Acts 4:12 and RAISE them a Matthew 6:1-8.

    Have a great afternoon!

Joe in sunny Florida, still supporting the only group that is “Working for the Constitution”

  10. Rev Bob

Matthew 6:1-8 has nothing to do with personal salvation where John 14:6 and Acts 4:12 does.

Why don’t you look up Romans 3:23 and 6:23 which also relates to salvation and Pastor Joan has not answered my question as to why she thinks Mikey will not go to heaven. I want scriptural proof of her answer!! Pesonally, I do not think she knows how to defend her position of this.

  11. Joe Odom

“You want proof? You can’t handle the proof!” ((with apologies to “A Few Good Men”))

Bob, there is no proof. The greatest enemy of the bible comes when Gutenberg invented the printing press. Gone are the tribal hand down stories, isolated cells who found their comfort in a particular way a story was described by the elders. Think of how sentient man reacted with the translations of Babylonian plates (with a big nod to The Epic of Gilgamesh).

It is quite silly to stand (sit, lay, yoga position, etc) in a Comment Section and “demand” anything. These comments sections have been going on for years and if you are not aware of the past comments and didn’t take notes, well, it is on YOU to go back and read every one, just like we have. Then you have some credibility to comment.

Incidentally, since you failed to grasp the meaning, I was addressing Tom, not you, on a totally different manner. The Matthew 6 tends to be one often forgotten by those christians who gleefully show how wonderful they are.

I have way too many saves now to expect further, so for now I will skip your suggestion.

    Have a wonderful day!

  12. Connie

Joe – your comments are a breath of fresh air. 🙂

The number of people who know the Bible, warts and all, must frustrate the Rev Bobs of the world. The priest class had a good life for many years, being the only ones who knew how to read and write. I love it when a good monopoly is broken for the good of all and may it harm none.

PS – Awesome MIB mention. “With honors”. I’m still giggling.

  13. Joe Odom

Thank you for your note. I have recognized the peril that the MRFF has fought with since their beginning. I am just one ex-Air Force guy who shakes his head at the cow-towing to the strong-arm tactics of fundamentalists – whatever their ilk. I hope Mikey doesn’t cringe too much when I make my comments. 😉

My first wake up call was in Basic – way back in the VietNam era – when I was told I could not put my real religious preference on my dog tags. I could choose “No Rel Pref” however, but then I thought about all the vultures that would feel I was fair game. Anyway…

While I can appreciate and enjoy the majesty of man’s accomplishments in architecture, music and such as related to their celebration of the various deities – a little part of me cries that the cost is intellectual honesty.

My particular “hot button” is the whole “Jews killed Christ” thing. I mean really, who believes such tripe? What Roman official is going to be bamboozled by those accused to killing Jesus? Regardless, as Tom so succinctly noted, it was “preordained”. Anyone interfering with the crucifixion would be conspiring against the event that took place some 300 years later, that a semi-majority would proclaim the Holy Trinity. Yeah, I know, wow, how lucky they didn’t botch it!

I have been to Dachau, I have seen first hand the atrocities of the pogroms. I am not a Jew, and I cannot imagine the suffering they have endured by the ignorant masses for so many centuries. The slaughter of the Jews who lived freely among other people throughout western Europe during the Crusades – using them for sword and arrow practice before trotting off to slaughter more people – ah, yes, that self-righteous smell of death in the morning.

That is why I did some study and during that, found the “Nostra Aetate”. Look it up… it is (mostly) brilliant and clearly makes the case that Jews are not to be held or persecuted for the thinly veiled story line in the NT, among several other points of trying to make peace between rabid dogs.

I accept that there are those who maintain their version of belief, after all, there are thousands and thousands to choose from. But I did snicker at Bob “calling out” Pastor Joan – I mean really, it’s been several thousand years and you guys can’t get your story straight yet??

    Have a wonderful day Connie,

Joe – in sunny central Florida

  14. Tom O

What Rev Bob’s 8:22AM 4/23 challenge to Pastor Joan really says: “Prove I’m wrong using only quotes from MY holy book, the book which is the word of God because I (and others like me) say it is.”

  15. Tom

Ha ha. No acceptance by PJ to debate “here” using only the bible without pre-set reply content. I bet there is a software program that replies to new comments, instead a human being reading every new comment for which “Pastor Joan” name replied. I might add, PJ may not even have a M. Div from a conservative Christian university. Who knows but those insiders of MRFF?

  16. Tom

Why did Joe snicker at Bob, I wonder. It was a good call to come out of closet and have an open to public, honest conversation. It would have been a call to show the world that Pastor Joan was not a computer but a straight thinking human being able to have two-way, interactive dialogue with Bob. But no. No such dialogue can be expected from Joan at the rate we see. So disappointing at MRFF staff acting like a computer auto reply.

  17. Connie

    Jesus said I am
the way. My way and law is
    Love. How hard is that?

  18. Rev Bob

Bravo Tom!! Hit the nail right on the head!

  19. Connie

    What is the over/
    under that Tom is really
    Rev Bob? Place your bets!

  20. Connie

PS – There is a difference between Tom O and Tom – just making sure we are all on the same page.

  21. Connie

    Tom, you said:
Why did Joe snicker at Bob, I wonder. It was a good call to come out of closet and have an open to public, honest conversation.

Where did Joe snicker at Rev Bob? Please provide the quote.

Honest conversation is amazing if the other person is engaged and doesn’t constantly lie in order to make their point. Rev Bob refuses to answer the hard questions posed by many on this site. And he uses false equivalency, diversion, and authoritarianism (it’s true because I’m the authority that says it’s true) when he gets close to being backed into a corner.

I’ll be honest with you but I’m fairly certain you won’t appreciate my facts.

  22. Rev Bob

I am not the authority, but God is and His Word I just repeat. God is always the ultimate authority over all mankind and every nation!

  23. Connie

    It’s amazing that
    Rev Bob’s book says exactly
    What he wants it to

    Learn to share or there
    may be consequences which
    You do not expect

Rev Bob – your deity has neither authority nor power over me. Nothing you say will make it so. Accept it, move on. Practice your spiritual rape somewhere else, preacher man.

  24. Rev Bob

    Poor Connie,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but God owns you lock stock and barrel. He has absolute authority over you, scripture says that He even has all the hairs of your head numbered. He knows your thoughts from a far and even before you think them. Scary huh?! He knows what you are going to think before you think it and do before you do it.

God is omniscient and omnipresent. He knows what you are going to say before you say it!

I am shaking in my boots right now over your perceived consequences if I do not share, what, is the boogy man going to get me? Ha, “I laugh in the face of danger.”

  25. Connie

    Rev Bob is all for
Rape in the name of HIS God
    No love though, just rape

Where is the proof your deity ‘owns’ me? Without worshipers doesn’t your god disappear, just like all the rest?

  26. Connie

PS – I didn’t say I’d be the one delivering the consequences. Rev Bob’s persecution complex has him seeing persecution where it doesn’t exist.

(no way to put that many syllables into a Haiku. rats)
