Freedom

Mikey,

God is the creator of all of us. You will be with Him throughout all eternity. Why do you fight against him? He loves you, and the Lord will never forsake you.

Whatever your issue is with writing scripture on dog tags, is it really hurting people who want God’s Word wrapped around their necks in battle, or just to wear because they love God?

You are doing inane acts of injustice by going after people who believe in God. In Government, there are many people who know that God is real, and they love God. Are you going to try and get rid of them next. Fact number one: There is no such thing as Separation of Church and State. That is a made up term for people who don’t love God. Christ is in everything, and in Government, he is working there too. Have you not ever seen a kind person in Government, well, they are only kind because of Jesus Christ. You and others in this life think that you are clever with your fight against Jesus Christ. In a way, you fighters of the One and Only great God, Jesus Christ are snake eating his tail. You will get no where except back to your stubborn head, and you will realize that you have only been fighting yourself. Therefore, you will barf yourself back up, and see the Truth, or you will continue your folly of eating your tail over and over again, until eventually, you will see the Truth right before your eyes and in your heart. Then you will know the majesty of Jesus Christ forever.

For the unbeliever, it is said in scripture that your knee will bow and your tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, the only Truth, the only Way, the only life. That means that Muslims, Atheists, Jews that deny Christ as God, and everyone that every was created by God will bow down to HIm and follow Him forever.

You will eventually serve and follow God, and you will love doing it. You were made by God, so why don’t you stop fighting Him, and love Him now on this earth. You will love Him for all eternity, and you might as well start now.

Think of all the people you can spread the Good News to now, here on earth. All of your ambitions, hopes, and dreams could be for Jesus, and that is something great.

True Freedom, the Good News, is that Christ died for our sins, and He rose up three days later, and conquered death. He suffered in our place. For us, Mikey, that’s the Truth. He saved us all, and He said that it was finished. We are now with Christ for all eternity.

I don’t particularly like that people are against God, but I understand that you will come to Him when you understand His magnificent Glory. I cannot comprehend the wonders of living with Christ forever, but I am looking forward to it, and I know that I wi see you with Him in the future.

In this not so perfect world, I hope that you will let people know about Jesus and what He did for them. Let them know that there is One who loves them dearly with no judgement for their transgressions. No Judgement, because He washed us as clean as snow. You too are washed clean, and this is so, even in your present sin. How does Christ do it? Well, my friend, we are all in eager anticipation of what will be revealed by God.

Mikey, I noticed your credentials, and they look impressive. God lets us do things in this life, but you are not defined by things like that. You are defined by the fact that you are a child of God whether you know it or not.

One of the most important things you can do in this life is not your job or building up your credentials. The most important thing is to Love Jesus Christ, and in loving Jesus Christ, people will see Him in you, and when they see Him in you, they will have Hope. Your family is important to you, and what would be wonderful, is if you could show them that you love Jesus Christ. That would be the greatest thing that you have accomplished on this earth. You would not have to preach to them or anything of the nature. You would only have to live your life with that love for Christ, and it would be very noticeable.

All that go against God, Jesus Christ, the Only Truth in this world, will see one day that they were wrong not love God. The happy thing is, Jesus will not judge you or punish you when you inevitably come to Him. He will greet you with open arms and hold you forever in His love. That’s Jesus Christ.

Our pride sometimes gets in the way and keeps us from accepting the Truth. For if you did except take in the Truth, we would have to know that Jesus is the Only One who deserves praise. Even though we are washed clean and an important part of His family, Jesus is the KIng of all. That’s hard for a person to accept, especially when they have self pride., insecurities, selfishness, no hope, inflated intelligence, and you know the rest … We need to Think about the true things, the noble things, right things, and things of Christ. We need to love one another.

So Mikey, why don’t you stop your attacks on people who want to bring God into the lives of others? God is good. Let people freely talk (witness) about God in Government. Let us pray in Government. As long as it is Jesus Christ’s Good News being released into this world, it is a good thing. I do not mean to insult you or religions, but I do want to make it clear that Jesus is the Only Way. Sins we all commit, believing in false gods, being an atheist, that is not for me to judge, but I can say in total truth that we should steer away from those things. And thankfully because of Jesus Christ, are slates are erased if we do any of those bad things. That’s what Christ did for us by dying on the cross and raising up three days later. .

You need to live your life in a way where you know that there is Hope, love, goodness, and everything perfect in Christ. Jesus is looking out for your interests. Jesus’ Will for you is awesome. You Mikey, you are His. How can you deny Jesus being the All Stop Greatness of existence?

Thanks for reading,

hey, man, your banal, sanctimonious and arrogant fundamentalist Christian screed is well noted…and rejected….YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO OR WHAT WE ARE, sport!!….your repugnant attempt to proselytize me is both demeaning and insulting, (name withheld)!!….our issue with the dog tags is ONLY that this for-profit Christian company is viciously VIOLATING its trademark license from DoD by putting the military branches’ logos on these proselytizing dog tags….and thus violating the foundational separation of church and state in our Constitution….before you start throwing your shit around, try doing a little homework first, eh, brutha!!??….Mikey W.

Hi (name withheld),

You’ve made your views quite clear. You chose to go on at some length, but I guess that’s to demonstrate
the depth of your passion and your commitment to your belief. That’s fine, though I personally found it to be more than a bit over the top.

Here’s the deal: we at the MRFF have no problem with you believing as you do. You are welcome to your belief system, as is everyone else. Our only concern is seeing to it that zealous believers like yourself don’t break the law or violate military regulations that prohibit religious proselytizing in a manner that makes it appear the U.S. Government favors or endorses one belief system over the others.

That’s all.

We don’t, of course, hate God. Nor do we hate Jesus. We are not fighting God, as you suggest. That’s nuts.

Our “issue,” as you put it, is not the dog-tags. If people want to put religious verses on a dog-tag facsimile and wear it, that’s just fine and dandy with us. Our problem with these particular items was the illegal use of the official military emblem or trademark on them, because that implies government sponsorship or endorsement of a particular religious belief. That is a violation of military regulations and the separation of church and state, which is, despite your confusion, settled law. Let me repeat that: settled law. To state, as you did, that separation of church and state “is a made up term for people who don’t love God” is to engage in, to be kind, fanciful thinking.

I’m trying to be clear in this response, (name withheld), and I hope you understand that. I’m responding to your attack on Mikey and the MRFF because we believe in hearing our critics out and trying to help them gain clarity about who we actually are as opposed to the anti-God, anti-Jesus, anti-religious fanatics some insist on believing us to be.

I must say, though, that it’s difficult at times to restrain myself from responding in kind, from expressing the annoyance – no, contempt – I feel when I read the self-important, holier-than-thou, sanctimonious garbage that some self-anointed religious zealots send our way.

Thanks for reading.

For your information, American military men & women have the right to purchase & possess any verses (religious or non-religious) they desire. However, a private commercial business cannot illegally profit off of them by misrepresenting & mismanufacturing its souvenir merchandise as official issued military identification tags in violation of its own licensing agreement with the Department of Defense & applicable regulatory laws. That is why the unlawful practice was stopped by the military.

Please be advised that the US Constitution, which includes the military, requires our government to remain religious neutral with respect to religion (neither pro-religion nor anti-religion, but religion-neutral). Even Jesus separated religion & government (see Matthew 22:21 & Mark 12:17).

Your sanctimonious & self-righteous message is morally misdirected & would be more righteously redirected at those who disrespect & disregard their agreements & our laws rather than at those of us who respect & request compliance with them.

Most Sincerely,

John,

Thank you for your more than gracious reply. It is by communication that I learn things, and I am glad that you were nice enough to take the time to write me.

I wish you many blessings,

Hey C4Z, how about all you rotten little christofacists stop telling people how to live their lives, and stay the fuck out of everyone else’s business! How about that! If you wanna believe in some antiquated, brainless, DUMB AS FUCK fairytale, then that is YOUR prerogative. You don’t have the right to try and force it onto other people!

    Fuck your god!

And just like most of your ilk, your grammar SUCKS.

  2. Ironmoped

Good on ya RC! And you’re right, Christians don’t seem to do well in the grammar department. Not sure why but it seems to be universal in all the hate mail Mikey receives. And they don’t get irony. They condemn Mikey as a Jew while praying to a Jew! WTF?

  3. Ironmoped

C4J, your God sounds like he runs a celestial North Korea! “If you don’t profess your love for me and my Jewish son (also me), I will make you burn in hell forever!”
Sounds pretty insecure to me! An intervention and extensive therapy ought to be your first priority.
