An email to Mikey Weinstein

Dear Mikey,
As an almost 80-year old Believer in Jesus Christ, my heart is touched that you use your God-given (with much educational work on your own part!) gifts as an Attorney to defend religious Freedom.
I want to get to know you and your work better… read your case results against Religious discrimination.  It pleased me much to see that you began your work after your own sons suffered discrimination for their Jewish faith in the Air Force.
Growing up, my parents used the Old Testament to teach me much about life and how to allow God to fight my battles.  Hearing Psalms 23 & Psalms 91, closing  with our Christian Lord’s Prayer in the New Testament,  was my Mother’s  pathway out of Sundowning as I walked with her through Dementia.  It brought her back to me over and over during that dark time.  The same with my Father when his 3rd stroke left him paralyzed on his left side.
I have been ridiculed and looked down upon as “too religious” by school friends, fellow Christians and on the job.  I am full of life, never meet a stranger and very outspoken in all matters!  Or, as my precious Mother always said, “Patty, you know you do not have to say aloud every thought that comes into your mind.
So, get ready for my unpolitically correct analysis of your defense of Religious Freedom!
Look forward to checking up on you, young man!
