Mikey WeinsteinGreetings MRFF Supporters!

First, I'd like to remind each of our supporters that our Fifth Annual Thomas Jefferson Awards are taking place later this month, and we want to extend an invitation to each and every one of you to come join us at the Albuquerque Museum to honor this year's recipients, acclaimed actor Edward Asner and esteemed journalist Jeff Sharlet. All you have to do is RSVP by April 19th. The event is free to attend, though your tax-deductible donations are enormously appreciated as always. For more information on this event, our honorees, and to RSVP, please click here.

Thank you to each and every one of our supporters who attended the Bowling for the Troops fundraiser bowl-a-thon on April 10th in Ohio. The event was a resounding success, thanks as always to the generosity of our supporters. We will keep you posted about upcoming Bowling for the Troops events as they are scheduled.

Directly below, you will see a list of selected news highlights that have been featured on the MRFF website over this past month. Please be sure to check out the details of the Thomas Jefferson Awards, as well as the two latest articles written by our esteemed Senior Research Director, Chris Rodda. Her newest piece is a review of the documentary "Chaplains Under Fire," which features interviews with me, and is now being screened.

Thank you for your ongoing donations; please keep them up, as we need them now more than ever.

Your Eternal Ally,

Jesus Rifles - The Resurrection
By Chris Rodda, MRFF Sr. Research Director
"...the U.S. military, in its infinite wisdom, has decided to remove the inscriptions
from the sights that are in storage first, and then wait to remove them from the sights on the weapons
currently in use in Iraq and Afghanistan, after the deployed units that are using them return home, a plan
that completely ignores the biggest reason that the inscriptions urgently needed to be removed
