As you may have seen on our website, MRFF was pleased to announce that the Pacific Palisades Democratic Club has extended the honor of their prestigious Anne Froehlich Political Courage Award to me. Very recently, MRFF Advisory Board member Rick Baker and myself met with Ft. Carson Post Commander and Commander of the 4 ID ("Fourth Infantry Division"), Major General Perkins, to discuss the blatantly unconstitutional usage of Christian imagery and wording on the Evans Army Community Hospital emblem. This matter, and the Army's completely unsatisfactory "nonresponse", are addressed in the Military.com and Colorado Springs Gazette articles also linked below. We were also thoroughly delighted to receive a comprehensive and unconditional statement of support from the well-respected Interfaith Alliance of Colorado on this issue.
