Message From MRFF President and Founder Mikey Weinstein

Greetings MRFF Supporters!

First and foremost, I want to continue to bring attention to the U.S. Air Force Academy's "Climate Survey" that was finally released due to widespread pressure, not the least of which was exerted by MRFF since Academy Superintendent Lt. General Gould decided to withhold this most recent survey. You will see multiple stories below highlighting the survey's results, including the following alarming statistic:

41% of non-Christian cadets have experienced unwanted proselytization at the Academy.

Additionally, please be sure to take a look at the recent article distributed by Americans United for the Separation of Church and State. This expansive story takes an in-depth look at the recent "Rock the Fort" fundamentalist Christian concerts on military bases, their deep connections to Franklin Graham Ministries, and MRFF's extensive involvement fighting against unconstitutional religious incursions in the U.S. military.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the recent Santa Fe premiere of "Fair Game," starring Naomi Watts and Sean Penn. A portion of the proceeds from this event was graciously donated to MRFF. This thrilling new film is a dramatization of true events in the lives of former CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson and her husband, Ambassador Joseph C. Wilson. Joe and Valerie are long-time devoted supporters of MRFF, and Joe is a valued member of MRFF's Board of Directors.

All of us at MRFF continue to be encouraged by the many messages of support that are being submitted to our virtual wall separating church and state, which can be seen at helpbuildthewall.org. One recent submission reads "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?" which translates to "Who will guard the guards?" The answer is YOU - as evidenced by the powerful statements posted on this wall.

With your continuing generous support, we can keep fighting for unconditional religious freedom for every single honorable and noble serviceman or servicewoman in the U.S. armed forces. Please do so today by pledging a donation to Help Build The Wall between Church and State in the United States military. Your donation is fully tax-deductible, as always, and you can submit your own text for a brick.

Your Eternal Ally,
Mikey

MRFF Needs Your Constant Vigilance to Uncover
Unconstitutional Religious Incursions in the Military

The constitutional violations occurring in our military are so numerous and widespread
that we can't possibly find all of them ourselves. MRFF counts on its supporters and volunteers --
the indispensable "eyes and ears" who alert us to everything from the most egregious of constitutional
violations to articles we might be interested in.

So, keep the emails coming, and never think that anything is too insignificant or assume
that we might already know about it. You never know -- you might have stumbled into the
next bombshell of a story and not even realize it.
