Support MRFF

The grassroots campaign to ensure that religious freedoms are upheld in the United States Armed Forces will take considerable financing. Funding is required to educate and inform the public and media, to pursue legal remedies in the courts, and for normal operating expenses. The generous support of individuals and businesses enables MRFF to accomplish our critical goals.

We have a goal of 224 Constitution Society donors, one for each year since our Constitution was adopted. These donors will represent the cornerstone of MRFF’s funding and allow us to focus on exposing the egregious constitutional violations throughout the United States military.

Nominate MRFF For Awards

Over the years, MRFF and Mikey Weinstein have received numerous awards, nominations, and accolades. We are honored to receive any nomination or award, as they not only help to spread MRFF’s vital message, but also help with efforts to raise critically-needed funding.

Please be on the lookout for any awards that MRFF could be nominated for, whether they’re national awards or specific to a local region or city. Once you inform us of the award’s existence, if you desire to nominate MRFF or Mikey, we can provide any information or materials that you may require.

Please click here to e-mail us if you know of any relevant awards

Frequently Asked Questions

MRFF’s Development Director answers some common questions:

1. What are your “community outreach” efforts and what would it take to help?

The outreach coordinator starts a group of like-minded people. They meet once a month or so, nothing really formal to spread the message of MRFF. If you have chatted with people and find most of them hadn’t heard of you then that is exactly why we need people to help us get the word out. You could:

a. Chat about the Weekly Watches for that month

b. Spread the word via emailing info to people in your address book

c. Add a link to your Myspace and Facebook pages, etc.

d. And more…

These are just a few ideas to get you thinking but I think each group will chart its own course. I would just like a monthly e-mail/ update to keep posted on what each group is up to and if you have any questions.

2. What would it take to help?

If that seems too involved, how about being a part of a group or organizing a fund raiser or host a showing of the movie “Constantine’s Sword” and have Mikey come speak? There are lots of one-time things you can do. You could also spread the word by Facebook or Myspace or sending people links to the web site. We also have a nice store on the web site. All proceeds from that store go to the Foundation. Spreading the word about the store would help a great deal.

3. What kind of phone calls do you make that I could help with?

Phone calls may involve calling people when Mikey comes to your area to get them to come to an event.

4. What kind of speaking engagements do you do?

Mikey usually does the speaking engagements. As Development Director I go to some and Casey, Amanda and Curtis Weinstein will talk at some as well. It depends on scheduling. We usually ask that travel costs be covered – this would include airline tickets and hotel. People often have airline miles they donate to get the tickets and or hotel covered. An honorarium of $500.00 is requested. This can be done by charging for tickets, charging for a dinner, getting funds from garage sales, silent auctions. This can be something the outreach group could do. Mikey will talk as long as you would like him to with questions afterwards. Again, this is something the community outreach group would take on. Find Mikey a speaking engagement, publicize it and get people to come. If you have ties to groups that are interested in what MRFF is doing then that is precisely why we need people like you. Help us by getting in touch with your own ties to help develop a large network of people like you and I who are very worried and for good reason.

5. And what kind or size of audience?

Any size. When Mikey talks we are interested in two things: getting the information out about what is going on and what MRFF is trying to do, and getting funding. If you know people who could help MRFF by writing checks then a small dinner party would be nice where Mikey could attend. People who want to be informed, students of all ages, law students and religious organizations both large and small have all contacted Mikey to speak.

6. What would you consider worth your time?

Information is inherently better than no information – so getting the word out is so important. That being said, if the costs were covered and the honorarium of $500.00 was met, that would be well worth it.

7. What is “Constantine’s Sword”?

It is a movie by Oscar-nominated director Oren Jacoby, based on the New York times best-selling book by author James Carroll. The movie is an adaptation of the book chronicling the three hundred year bloody history between the Christians and and the Jewish people. You can purchase the movie from our web site with some of the purchase price going to MRFF. Mikey, Casey and Amanda Weinstein are prominently featured throughout the movie. It helps tell the MRFF story.
