Hey Mikey,

You are officially a force!  First, the Jesus Rifles which was HUGE and now this Franklin Graham invitation. I don’t know how you do it but thankfully, nothing escapes your notice. As I’ve said again and again, you are an American hero and patriot.  I only hope we don’t have to wait for history to recognize the importance of all you’re doing.

I’ve pasted the piece from today’s hard copy of the TImes and attached it as well just in case you no longer get the paper.

Best to best,

The Army is considering whether to rescind an invitation to the evangelist Franklin Graham to appear at the Pentagon amid complaints about his description of Islam as evil, a military spokesman said Wednesday. Mr. Graham, the son of Billy Graham, was to appear on May 6 for the National Day of Prayer. Col. Tom Collins of the Army said withdrawing the invitation was “on the table.” Mikey Weinstein, president of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, which raised the objection, said the invitation offended Muslim employees at the Pentagon. Colonel Collins said the invitation was not from the Pentagon but from the Colorado-based National Day of Prayer Task Force, which works with the Pentagon chaplain’s office on the prayer event.
