Having just read the article in Truthout (“No Dominion: The Lonely, Dangerous Fight Against Christian Supremacists Inside the Armed Forces”, July 11, 2010), I can only say how saddened I am to learn the extent of the cancer within the American armed services that is ‘Christian’ fundamentalism.
I would also like to say how thankful I am for people like you who stand for what’s just. How ironic that the modern (so-called Christian) crusaders are so like their Islamic jihadist counterparts: intolerant of all and oblibious the very essence of the religion they portend to uphold. I can’t even call them Christian- biblical fundamentalists is more akin to who they really are. Thank you for your work through the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) — and for your courage. What you are doing is so very important. My prayers for your efforts, your success, and for your safety.
