Sir,
I’m the 2008 grad that met you in Starbucks in ABQ on Saturday. Just following up with this e-mail to say, once again, the appreciation I have for the battle you have chosen to fight. Even as a Catholic, I was always made to seem like I wasn’t good enough by some of the Evangelists I encountered at USAFA. Although I still see it as a problem, the atmosphere did improve from my doolie year in the fall of ’04 to when I graduated in the spring of ’08. Most of the thanks for this improvement belongs both to yourself and to your organization and I know there are plenty of grads and other military personnel that feel the same way, even if we are not as outspoken as your critics. Thanks once again.
