Dear MRFF,

“In short, this shameful display of SS “lightning bolts” by U.S. service personnel enrages our regional allies, emboldens the extremist Islamist forces with whom we are contending, and eviscerates good order, morale, and discipline within the U.S. Marine Corps.”

Is that right?
What does an Air Force Lawyer know about the Marine Corps anyway?

Absolutely nothing is what!

It is painfully apparent that your hysterical reaction to 2 letters in our alphabet that Marine Scout Snipers use to signify who they are, and not any association to past German military units, shows your clouded sense of reality.

Those Marines don’t give a rat’s ass about you, your background, your religious preferences or anything that has to do with the Jewish faith.

Get that through your thick skulls! What they care about is accomplishing their assigned missions of locating and killing the enemy with extreme prejudice. And the last time I looked, they are eliminating the very people that would rather see all Jews and the Israeli Nation wiped out! But wait…what would an Air Force Lawyer know about front-line combat? Again..nothing!

Your time could be better spent recruiting young Jewish men and women into our Services instead of crying that the sky is falling.
You owe those Marines an apology for your outrageous and absolutely stupid behavior.

With absolutely no respect whatsoever,

(name withheld)

Dear (name withheld),

My name is Rick Baker. I’m a former Air Force Officer and Rescue Pilot having served two combat tours in Vietnam. I’m a long time supporter of MRFF and a former volunteer. The whole team is up to their sinus cavities with correspondence so I’m pitching in so that everyone gets a response to their letters.

What does an Air Force lawyer know about the Marine corps? Well it depends on who the Air Force Lawyer is. Mr. Weinstein is an honor graduate of the US Air Force Academy, a ten year veteran of the Air Force Judge Advocate’s office, a three year White House Counsel to President Reagan and general counsel to Ross Perot Industries. His family represents over one hundred years of honorable military service to America with graduates from the Air Force Academy and Annapolis.

Mr. Weinstein and MRFF are currently addressing over 26,900 client complaints from our young men and women in the armed forces relative to command centered and coercive religious proselytizing. Most from Evangelical Protestant commanders and field grade officers. In that grouping are a number from combat Marines who have been co-opted by these ersatz officers.

So MRFF and Mr. Weinstein may have more knowledge of military than you would imagine.
The “two letters in our Alphabet” remark shows that it may indeed be you who lacks knowledge in this area. The runes employed to make the emblem SS represent one of the most diabolical regimes in world history. It was proudly displayed while millions of Jews and others were annihilated during W.W.II and became the most vile symbol of tyranny and totalitarian government. If our Marine friends didn’t know, they should have. In addition it is a gross dishonor to the millions of Americans and our allies who fought and died to trample that sign underfoot.

Your pointed disrespect for Mr. Weinstein and MRFF without knowing him and the much needed mission does not speak well of you.

Despite that I must thank you for your years of service to America and while I’m not hot on your your opinions right now, I will completely respect your right to express them and your years of service and the high rank which you attained.

Rick Baker
MRFF Supporter

Dear Rick,

I could care less what you think of me. You are of little consequence.
The fact is Mr. Weinstein knows nothing of being Combat Marine and no amount of your bullshit spin to avert the issue is going to change it.
When you know everything about everything, then you have the right to say “they should have known”..until then..shut the fuck up!
Yes, I have nothing but disrespect and absolute loathing for an organization that makes judgments before knowing the facts.
I guess Mr. Weinstein and his organization thinks he, as a Jew, are entitled and owed due to historic casualties. They are not…just as Armenians or Russians or Cambodians are not either.
Isn’t Mr. Weinstein a lawyer? Isn’t he supposed to know the facts before shooting his mouth off?
And spare me the history lesson..I know it just as well as you.

The Marine Corps(if you’re going to spell it, spell it right Richard!) isn’t going to change an MOS Title so you won’t be offended and can sleep easy at night.
Do you really think that group of 19-20 year old men purposely put up a flag with SS runes to piss off the Jew of the world? Are you kidding?

I you do…you’ve got to be the collectively stupidest people on the planet..along with your friends at the Westboro Baptist Church.
I can’t help but put both your organizations into the same category…worthless.

Family Service? Michigan 24th(Civil War), AEF 149th Field Artillery and East Prussian Forces(WWI), 4th Marine Raider Bn(WWII), USMC ’78-’08. That’s my family history. So you trying to impress me with Mr. Weinsteins family service as another way to skirt the issue just isn’t going to work.

I don’t need any thanks from you or anyone associated with your organization. Drop dead!

Thank you for your reply. I see your anger has co-opted your ability to think cohesively. But, none the less, I understand your intense feelings of brotherhood for these young marines and their less than intelligent selection of identity banners.

Lest we waste time in name calling, let me just say that we can agree to disagree and hope that some point in time, we are able to discuss this matter over a Tangeray martini in a reputable house of exotic liquors and equally exotic company. And as my superior officer, I hope you will forgive any insubordination that you might suspect.

As for Mr. Weinstein not being a combat marine, may I remind you that doing battle with the government is tantamount to the skirmish between David and Goliath?

Are you sure you’ re not my Dad reincarnate? He was a crusty old Army Infantry Colonel when he retired and sounded a lot like you. He never forgave me for joining the Air Force after he and my three brothers opted for the Army Even after I was wounded he said “see , I told you so.”

In any case I wish you no malice and on behalf of MRFF hope you will have a long and happy retirement.

Rick
