Mikey,
As you know I have been a supporter of MRFF for years now. Although I have encountered many issues with religious intolerance throughout my 23+ year career, I have been able to overcome them on my own. This paradigm held true until last week when my whole world seemed to fall apart in an apocalyptic fashion. As you know, the situation I am in has become beyond intolerable; to the point of fearing for the safety and well-being of my family; my spouse and children. I will not go into anymore detail about the situation as it is part of an ongoing military investigation. However, I will say that after having our brief conversation today, I feel that I have had the weight of the world lifted from my shoulders. The MRFF has come to my aid with overwhelming force. I will sleep well tonight knowing that you and your foundation are pulling guard for my family and I. The MRFF holds my deepest gratitude.

I want it to be known by anyone in the military community who feels that they are alone, desperate, singled out, discriminated against, and have nowhere to turn because their religious views do not conform to the “fundamentalist Christian mainstream” that so permeates the U.S. military, that there is hope. The MRFF is there for you. Send MRFF an email or give them a call. Let them know how you feel and what you are going through and they will act. You can rest assured that Mikey Weinstein and the MRFF are watching your back.
Thanks again Mikey, I am eternally grateful!
Your friend,
(U.S. Army soldier’s name, rank, MOS, combat unit and assigned military installation withheld)
