Selected Article Excerpts:

The fight between a former Air Force lawyer and ex- Navy chaplain appeared to be over last spring when a Dallas judge dismissed the attorney’s lawsuit against the chaplain for allegedly using “curse prayers” to incite violence against the attorney and his family.

But the bitter battle entered a new phase this past week when the lawyer, Mikey Weinstein, announced he may file a defamation suit against the chaplain, Gordon Klingenschmitt, for comments made on various websites after the dismissal.

On several websites, Klingenschmitt was quoted as saying Judge Martin Hoffman had dismissed the case as frivolous. But in a recent hearing, Hoffman made clear he did no such thing.
