Gifts to needy children through Angel Tree

Dear Scourge: Yes, that’s what you are by preventing children from all over the world from having the support of the affluent military who could send gifts to children. You are fighting something very sick maybe inside of yourself. Yes, you may have been spoken to by unkind Christians, but who are you supporting-the devil? You aren’t turning your experience into something that helps this country or its citizens.

What did Jay Seklow say to you in your debate? Reconsider whatever it was.

Aren’t you supporting the muslims or atheists? Aren’t you controlling the military academy now by your law suit against them helping needy children?

What do you think God will say to you about your life? Can’t you do something productive with your life? Are you not having a tantrum???

(name withheld)

Dear (name withheld),

To begin with, let me introduce myself. I am a Christian (Episcopalian in fact) who fully supports Mikey’s and MRFF’s attempt to protect members of the U.S. Military from unconstitutional religious (any religion) influence in relation to their training, assignment, advancement and retention. My devotion to this cause is based on the fact that
by adoption of the Constitution, we as a nation agreed to be bound to each other under a democratic Man’s Law rather than a theocratic Devine Law. To sum up my perspective, I defend both my Christian faith and my Constitution proudly and equally. I simply don’t feel compelled to defend one at the expense of the other. To do so would be both gutless and unpatriotic.

Now to your email. What in the hell are you talking about? Your ridiculous diatribe includes numerous accusations without one single attribution. Were these accusations the result of something specific you read (please specify)? Church Gossip? What? Please be specific if you are actually seeking a response. Otherwise, I’ll have to write this off as another one of my self-proclaimed fellow “Christians” blowing off the normal fetid emissions created by their over-baked grey matter before their head explodes. We get a lot of that here, so I won’t plan on setting aside any time right now to respond to specific issues rather than general wailings. Please…surprise me.

You refer to “unkind Christians” as a group separate from yourself. I find this curious since my Bible still contains a prohibition against bearing false witness or testimony, yours apparently does not. I’ll wish you good luck with God’s review of your life as well, I think you’ll be needing it.

Peace be with you,
Andy Kasehagen
