Military Religious Freedom Foundation

Is this the orginazation that fights to keep JESUS or any mention fo GOD and his SON out of the United States. If it is then you all must be workers for satan. You’re not very smart, Evil will never win over GOD, that will never happen. I am a Christian and proud of it. No where in Our Constitution does it state religious freedom is only allowed where our government says it. Our Constitrution protects our right to Religion. Ithis right bothers evil people like yourself then nothing is holding you here, so leave this country. Try your views in another country. We don’t need people like you here. Thank you.

Dear (name withheld),

Nope! Where in the world did you get that idea? Oh, wait, I know – Fox News.

This is such an exaggeration of what we do and is just a figment of your imagination. We are not trying to take God and Jesus out of the United States. We only deal with the military.

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) does NOT act on its own but at the request of the soldiers’ complaints of the blatant disregard and trampling of the Constitution and the Military Code of Justice; blurring the lines between the separation of church and state. Every complaint is vetted by Mikey who was a JAG lawyer at the Air Force Academy for 10 years; worked in the West Wing under Ronald Reagan; and held positions in private practice.
“No where in Our Constitution does it state religious freedom is only allowed where our government says it.”

Oh, yes it does!

The very First Amendment to the Constitution reads:

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion …”

Note that the clause is absolute. It allows no law. It is also noteworthy that the clause forbids more than the establishment of religion by the government. It forbids even laws respecting an establishment of religion.
“. . . no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.” (Article VI, Section III)

The Air Force has strict laws on religion.

BY ORDER OF THE SECRETARY OF THE AIR FORCE
Air Force Instruction 1-1
7 August 2012

2.11. Government Neutrality Regarding Religion. Leaders at all levels must balance constitutional protections for an individual’s free exercise of religion or other personal beliefs and the constitutional prohibition against governmental establishment of religion. For example, they must avoid the actual or apparent use of their position to promote their personal religious beliefs to their subordinates or to extend preferential treatment for any religion. Commanders or supervisors who engage in such behavior may cause members to doubt their impartiality and objectivity. The potential result is a degradation of the unit’s morale, good order, and discipline. Airmen, especially commanders and supervisors, must ensure that in exercising their right of religious free expression, they do not degrade morale, good order, and discipline in the Air Force or degrade the trust and confidence that the public has in the United States Air Force.

Our military is a government entity and must remain secular. All religious holidays, feasts and obligations are to be in the hands of the Chaplains on Chapel grounds. This is legal and we encourage it. The Christians can put up a tree, a Nativity scene and any other decorations they want on their grounds.

Congratulations! So am I and so is 75% of the Board, Advisory Board, volunteers and supporters with MRFF. In fact, 96% of our almost 36,000 soldier clients (1 can represent 50) are Christians.

We are the wrong ones to spout your anger and hatred at. I suggest you write to the Military Times and tell them and the soldiers how you really feel about it.

You, in your very own words, have painted with a broad brush a lot of Christians in the MRFF as Satanic and evil when you didn’t even do the slightest bit of research to find out what we do. You have fallen head long into a deep pit of ignorance by allowing the media to bring you to the point of fomenting such anger by their lies, distortions and omissions.

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20

“But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.” Matthew 12:36

Woe unto YOU at the Judgment Seat of Christ!

And, btw – we aren’t going anywhere.

Pastor Joan
