O’Reilly interview

Mr.Weinstein, I saw the interview with you and Mr.O’Reilly. I have good news for you, Jesus is the One and Only Messiah of the Jews and everyone else in the world. I am a Marine and a National Guardsman. My Grandmother who passed away was a Israeli Jew from Poland. I read the Bible thru every year, you should too. Jesus is our ONLY Hope now and after we die. If we reject Jesus the Christ as our Saviour we will suffer eternal vengeance for our sins against God. He is the Lamb of God!!!! Please listen and call upon the Name of the Lord Jesus and be saved. Thank you.

Dear (name withheld),

Mikey read your email and asked me to respond.

Enlistment Oath.— Each person enlisting in an armed force shall take the following oath:

“I, XXXXXXXXXX, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of theofficers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.”

Did you swear to defend the Constitution and obey the regulations and laws of the military? Or did you swear to defend the bible?

Did you say So help me God in your oath when Jesus tells us not to swear by Heaven where God resides or you will be condemned? (James 5:12)

I’m wondering if you really LISTENED to what was said.

Did you hear Mikey say 18 soldiers complained?

Here’s what the media fails to tell you:

Mikey and the MRFF DO NOT act on their own but on the complaints of soldiers who see the blatant disregard for the Constitution and military law where religion is concerned. Maybe I should forward your email to the Military Times – complete with your email address – and have them contact you directly. I’m sure the soldiers would love to hear from you.

We are not an atheist organization nor are we anti-Christian. Mikey is Jewish and 75% of the Board, Advisory Board, volunteers and supporters of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) are Christians. In fact, 96% of our almost 36,000 soldier clients (1 can represent 50) are Christians. So, we fight for the rights of Christians more than any other religion.

If you go to our website and click on “About” and the “Foundation Voices” you will see that we also have distinguished military personnel on our Advisory Board that we rely on for their expertise on what can and cannot be done on military bases. I think they know more than you do.

Even though O’Reilly said it is a federal holiday it is still a Christian holiday, hence the Nativity scene. To make it a true sectarian, federal holiday the only things that can be put up is Santa and his elves and Rudolph and his reindeers.

Military laws state that religious holiday decorations are to be put up on Chapel grounds – where it has been moved back to – not in secular dining halls for those of other religions or those of no religious affiliation have to face it on a daily basis. If GITMO felt they were right it putting it there, why did they move it? Think about it.

You are preaching to the choir and believe me, you are not the first nor will you be the last.

My question to you is: are you really defending the Constitution and military laws or Christianity?
