Dear (name withheld),
And what rights would those be? Your religious beliefs do not trump constitutional law and you must obey those laws irrespective of your belief system.
MRFF protects the religious freedom of all armed forces members and when their constitutionally protected religious freedom is threatened by others, including supervisory personnel, MRFF takes action.
In the Supreme Court decision titled Lemon Vs. Kurzman 1971, the court ruled that government may not advance, promote, recommend or proselytize one religion over another or religion over non-religion.
MRFF is currently addressing over 35,000 complaints from our young men and women in the military as having been subject to command centered and coercive Christian based proselytizing. Of those complainants fully 96% are self described Christians. This means that even Christians are being approached to upgrade into a more militant and controlling sect.
Our troops must be free or coercive religious approach by others in the military.
