Dear MRFF,

I never heard of your organization. From what I read about it on line scared me. You go out of your way to infringe on the Constitutional rights of non-Atheists. If I’m not mistaken, many of your members are in the military of the U.S. Why does organized religion offend you so much?

Atheists scare the shit out of me. To me, there is no hope in the atheist mind. No hope equals a person who has no reason to live by the standards of a society. How do Atheists get such a big say in what I can display? Pretty soon I won’t be able to wear my crucifix where it will be seen by others. When that day comes I’ll have a rifle in my hands.

You are the Vast minority of this country, yet you have a big voice. So much effort in trying to make people feel bad about life. Put this effort in trying to do something constructive.

Dear (name withheld),

You really think MRFF is an atheist organization? Since by your own admission you know very little about us, I’ll let this pass as simple ignorance for now.

If after reading that article you hold your position, you will have graduated to willful ignorance.

Sincerely,

Blake A. Page
Military Religious Freedom Foundation
Special Assistant to the President
Director of West Point Affairs

p.s.: BOO! (from a big scary atheist)

You are too gracious. Thank you

I reserve grace for those who introduce themselves in a well balanced and reasonably intelligent manner. Your xenophobia, implicit endorsement of the tyranny of the majority, and hyperbolic and misguided assessment of the condition of religious freedom in our country didn’t meet that standard.

If you’d like to start over with a mature dialogue, I’d be happy to.
