Military

Count on a Jew to strip God from the military. Face it Mikey, you hate the God of your ancestors for your own personal reasons, not your love of the constitution and country.

Without Faith, love and God, people like HITLER come to power. You have a bad memory, Mikey

Dear(name withheld),

…and count on a clown such as yourself to easily and lazily ignore the history of Hitler’s own words to justify turning the U.S. Military into a ‘Mission for God’.

Dear (name withheld),

I see by your fake address that you are a coward. Sorry about that.
You message indicates your cowardice as well, as bigots are invariably cowards.

Your cowardice is not helped by your stupidity, of course. But there’s a cure for that.

I wish you enlightenment.

“I believe today that I am acting in the sense of the Almighty
Creator. By warding off the Jews I am fighting for the Lord’s work.”

[Adolph Hitler, Speech, Reichstag, 1936]

“And so I believe to-day that my conduct is in accordance with the will

of the Almighty Creator. In standing guard against the Jew I am

defending the handiwork of the Lord.”

[Adolph Hitler, _Mein Kampf_, Chapter II]

What we have to fight for is the necessary security for the existence

and increase of our race and people, the subsistence of its children and

the maintenance of our racial stock unmixed, the freedom and

independence of the Fatherland; so that our people may be enabled to

fulfil the mission assigned to it by the Creator.

[Adolph Hitler, _Mein Kampf_, Chapter VIII]

Yep…this, and so much more, easily researchable history is available to show just how well you’re living up to your name Mr./Ms. Stench.

I am a Christian (Episcopalian in fact) who fully supports Mikey’s and MRFF’s attempt to protect members of the U.S. Military from unconstitutional religious influence in relation to their training, assignment, advancement, retention and benefits.  96% of MRFF’s clients are also Christians who, like me, have chosen to fight back against (rather than passively accept) the Dominionist tendencies of those Christians who proselytize or attempt to impose their version of the Christian faith via government sanction.

My belief in Christ and his teachings (i.e. faith) is not so feeble as to make me feel the need to prop up my Christian faith and heritage with government approved crutches.  To do so as a patriotic American would be weak willed and would come at the expense of my duty to protect and defend my Constitution and the secular democratic republic it established.

I defend both my Christian faith and my very secular Constitution proudly and equally.  I don’t feel the need (or have the pre-requisite fear) to defend one at the expense of the other.

Keep your hysterical/historical revisionism and your gutless fear of living under a secular Constitution to yourself.

Dear (name withheld),

Last month, Jan 18th to be precise, you wrote an e-mail to Mikey Weinstein, founder of the Military Religious Freedom Foundatation in which you wrote:

“Count on a Jew to strip God from the military. Face it Mikey, you hate the God of your ancestors for your own personal reasons, not your love of the constitution and country.

Without Faith, love and God, people like HITLER come to power. You have a bad memory, Mikey”

Mikey, begin occupied with protecting our soldiers from religious persecution, shared your message with me and, after confirming it wasn’t another fake address as at least 95% of the hate mail Mikey get are, I’m writing in response but not as an official spokesperson of the MRFF.

First I find it hypocritical for you to begin your screed with a blatantly anti-Semitic screed and the to close extolling the virtues of love.  Evidently, you are incapable of following your own ‘savior’s’ creed to ‘love thy neighbor’.  Your attempt armchair psychoanalysis is ridiculously juvenile but also counter-factual since his entire organization is centered around protecting the Constitution and, thus, our country (as was his military and government service prior to forming the MRFF).

Lastly, your closing comment reveals an appalling ignorance of history since your concept that Hitler’s rise was due to the absence of ‘Faith, love, and Dog’ since Hitler as an avowed Catholic (never excommunicated, BTW), the population who supported him were overwhelmingly Protestants, and Hitler did love his people (der Volk) and had implicit faith that his ‘mission’ was divine.

So, I guess your e-mail amounts to you spewing out whatever hateful idiocy came to your mind at the moment and is entirely unrelated to reality and as such is actually unworthy of the time I’m taking to respond to it.  But, in closing, here is a very concise statement of the MRFF’s mission.  I urge you to read it and see if your oh so Christian mindset has a real issue with anything in it.  If it does, then perhaps it’s you who hates the Constitutional concept of a pluralistic democracy and would actually be happier in a religious dictatorship.

  • No religion or religious philosophy may be advanced by the United States Armed Forces over any other religion or religious philosophy.
  • No member of the United States Armed Forces may be compelled in any way to conform to a particular religion or religious philosophy.
  • No member of the military may be compelled to endure unwanted religious proselytization, evangelization or persuasion of any sort in a military setting and/or by a military superior or civilian employee of the military.
  • The full exercise of religious freedom includes the right not to subscribe to any particular religion or religious philosophy. The so-called “unchurched” cede no Constitutional rights by want of their separation from organized faith.
