I have come across a number of Atheist groups in the past but your group might take the cake for the most obviously insecure and outwardly seething with anger over feelings of inadequacy I have ever seen.

I find it almost funny and it would be if it wasn’t also sad that the main “action” that Atheist groups like yours take is them doing the exact things they claim to hate about religious groups/people. Although, in actuality you all a lot of the time actually go further and do everything in your power to crap on anybody who dares disagree with you and you in turn shove your ignorant beliefs into everybody else’s face despite claiming that you hate such actions when it is others doing the “shoving”.

You all claim to be “enlightened”, “superior” and not “fooled by religion” yet all of your actions(actions speak louder than words after all) scream out about just how insecure you actually happen to be.

Anyway, I am praying you all will eventually “get over yourselves” and admit what each of you know to be true which is that, at the very least, deep down, if you admit this to yourselves or not, that is the undeniable fact that each of you at “military religious freedom” are missing something extremely important in your lives and I truly do hope and pray you all find it sooner rather than later.

Dear (name withheld),

I hope you don’t take this the wrong way, but I’ll attempt to explain something to you that I usually reserve for a much younger audience.  However, this childlike explanation is obviously required due to whatever laughably ridiculous source(s) you relied upon to determine that MRFF is an atheist group.

Here it is:  Words have meanings.

Atheist:  a person who denies or disbelieves the existence of a supreme being or beings.

(source:  http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/atheist)

Secular:  Of or relating to worldly things or to things that are not regarded as religious, spiritual,

or sacred; temporal: secular interests.  Not pertaining to or connected with religion.

(source:  http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/secular?s=t)

I am a Christian (Episcopalian in fact) who fully supports Mikey’s and MRFF’s attempt to protect members of the U.S. Military from unconstitutional religious influence in relation to their training, assignment, advancement, retention and benefits.  96% of MRFF’s clients are also Christians who, like me, have chosen to fight back against (rather than passively accept) the Dominionist tendencies of those Christians who proselytize or attempt to impose their version of the Christian faith via government sanction.

My belief in Christ and his teachings (i.e. faith) is not so feeble as to make me feel the need to prop up my Christian faith and heritage with government approved crutches.  To do so as a patriotic American would be weak willed and would come at the expense of my duty to protect and defend my Constitution and the secular democratic republic it established.

I defend both my Christian faith and my very secular Constitution proudly and equally.  I don’t feel the need (or have the pre-requisite fear) to defend one at the expense of the other.

Finally, rather than praying for anyone here at MRFF (Christian, Atheist or otherwise) and as a fellow Christian I assume (?), I suggest you keep your uninformed judgments to yourself.

Romans 2:1

Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

Matthew 7:3
Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

Luke 6:37
Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

Peace be with you,

Andy Kasehagen
