I get a kick out of letter writers who are under the misapprehension that the principles you are fighting for are new.
I recently finished the book The Arnheiter Affair. It involves a Vietnam era ship’s captain who in 1966 was relieved of command after only 99 days. One of the charges that was considered especially serious by his superiors was that he held mandatory Protestant services on board ship.
What is different now is that such behavior seems to  be acceptable practice.

Thanks for looking out for our people in service.
