Hi (name withheld),

Looks like we have at least a few things in common. For instance: we’re both non-religious. That’s cool. Here’s another one: we both don’t give a shit if someone else is. Surprised? Do you know the difference between us? I DO care that the *GOVERNMENT* (an involuntary tax-funded entity we all pay for) shows religious neutrality in all circumstances. The government has rules and regulations, as well as a history of court rulings, which uphold this principle when it comes to the conduct of government employees. Perhaps you don’t understand the legal intricacies of government neutrality, or perhaps you don’t think it’s a serious matter, but those of us (both non-religious and our religious allies) who have the knowledge, the moral consistency, and the courage will fight against the slightest hint of theocracy wherever it rears its ugly head.

Hi (name withheld),

We’re fine with people’s religious choice, whatever it might be. What we’re not fine with is officers violating military regulations and U.S. law to promote a particular religion.

That’s illegal and contrary to his own regulations. You might choose to ignore it; we don’t. We think it plays right into the strategy of ISIS and its allies who continue to claim Christians are at war with Muslims.

Think about it.
