Dear (name withheld),
I’ve got a hobby actually. It involves reaching out to commanders on behalf of marines who request my assistance. Nothing we do is done without the active requests of military personnel or their families. Would you prefer those marines stay off base as well?

Does it involve being spoken down to to to point of instigation by your ppl? I apologize for my word usage it is something I Fung insanely ridiculous and the fact that EVERYONE finds EVERYTHING offensive is getting a bit old. To be honest yes id prefer those Marines leave bases as well!!! The Marine Corps is built by a ton of beating down and building up and for a Marine to be offended by seeing God written on a sign I think we could all benefit from their absence!!!

Well at least we know where you stand. Glad we got that cleared up, and I’m even happier to know that the law is not on your side.
To answer your other email, I’m the Special Assistant to the President of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, Mikey Weinstein.

Dear (name withheld) –
I am writing in response to your September 27, 2015 email to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (“MRFF”). First, I would like to express my appreciation for including such an accurate description of yourself in the subject line of your email (“Pile of shit”). I knew exactly what to expect before even opening it, which I found very efficient.
Regarding your “demand,” I’m afraid few of us at MRFF have time for hobbies since we are very busy protecting the constitutional rights of the brave men and women in uniform who sacrifice so much to protect our rights. Consequently, we cannot stay “off and away from Marine Corps bases” or any other military bases, other military facilities, or military academies because those are the places where our clients’ rights are being violated. It is from these locations that soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines, midshipmen, cadets, and veterans contact MRFF seeking help as a result of religious discrimination or wrongful proselytizing.
For these reasons, I cannot give your email any more attention – there is much work to be done to ensure that the requirements of the Constitution are obeyed. However, I do want to thank you for your email. Comments such as yours remind us of the importance of our mission and fuel our passion to protect our protectors.
Blessed be,
Tobanna Barker
MRFF Legal Affairs Coordinator
