President/Founder Mikey Weinstein was contacted by an active duty service member at Buckley AFB located in Aurora, CO on December 19, 2015 regarding the rampant display of religious symbols in and around duty work stations.  MRFF’s client was extremely concerned that their desire to display atheist (not anti-theist) symbols would be immediately met with an order to remove these symbols of personal conviction.  Rather than being force to remove their personal atheist symbols, this MRFF client followed Mikey’s advice and directed his chain-of-command to the religious neutrality requirements of Air Force Instruction 1.1, Section 2.11.  Within 2 days of doing this, MRFF’s client informed Mikey that:

All the information you gave me checked out and not only did it help, but it informed my chain of command on what is allowed and what isn’t when it comes to religion in the military persons life and work. You guys are amazing and will come back again if I ever have another situation like this.
