Based upon experience and leadership regarding government/religion interaction, MRFF President/Founder Mikey Weinstein was contacted by the Crisis Intervention Officer of a large municipal fire/rescue department for assistance in developing a Constitutionally compliant, diverse and religiously pluralistic Chaplains program.  Of particular note regarding the department making this request is its location within the deep south (a.k.a. The Bible Belt) along with the size of the department, ranking within the top 20 largest municipal fire departments (stations & firefighters) within the United States.  Based upon this request, MRFF was able to immediately offer direct staff assistance by MRFF personnel highly experienced with military and Veterans Administration chaplaincy program development and administration.
