Step lightly Mikey.

Step lightly Mikey.

Hi (name withheld),

That message of yours couldn’t possibly be meant as a threat, could it? I know
there are some pretty crazy folks out there, some of whom like to try to intimidate
people who do things they disagree with by sending threatening messages.

So tell me, Donney, if that’s what you have in mind so I can properly respond.

Dear (name withheld),

Fortune favors the bold.  It’s not in our favor to step lightly while theocrats stomp about our government.

It’s people like you that contribute to the moral decay in this country by perverting the Constitution.  You work for the worst pres. In American.  A radical anti-colonialist much like his daddy.

Dear (name withheld),

I don’t work for any president. Your woeful misinformation is showing.

But you fit the same mold.

Have we met? If not, you’ve got no way to support that claim. You don’t have any special knowledge to justify your sweeping generalization. Blame Obama if you need to, but be aware that you’re arguing from a position of ignorance.

Fret not, (name withheld), nothing you could say would give me satisfaction. I just need to

know which kind of coward I’m dealing with – the one who calls names or the one

who means harm. The ones who make “ambiguous” statements and then follow them with

charges about “chip(ing) away at the foundational precepts that made this country

great” are the squirmy ones, the jellyfish who want us to wonder but don’t have the

spine to back up a ‘possible’ threat.

But just for fun, since we are defending the Constitution, if you’d care to cite the
foundational precept you think we’re chipping away at I’ll be happy to straighten you

out (no ambiguity intended).
