Mr Weinstein,

Your organization doesn’t believe in religious freedom, at all. If you had, the comments that came out of your mouth concerning the 310th would’ve never happened. I read the article about the officer in the 310th and I think you’re an absolute moron. Everyone, I repeat everyone should have the right to practice the religion of their choice, I highly doubt if someone had been displaying the Koran or the Torah that you would’ve batted an eyelash, for fear of being seen as the bigot that you are……your mission is dishonorable and one of many big threats to religious freedom and expression in this country.

Response from MRFF Advisory Board Member Mike Farrell

Hi (name withheld),

You’re wrong on every count.

The MRFF is dedicated to the protection of the religious freedom of the women and men in the military.

While you’re welcome to disagree with anything we do or say, that doesn’t make you right.

There are no morons here. I can’t speak for there.

Everyone, I repeat everyone, does have the right to practice the religion of their choice. Protection of that right, while we also include the right of those who choose to not have a religion, is the fundamental mission of the MRFF. Your ignorance of military regulations and the requirements imposed therein has betrayed you.

Your doubt about our willingness to oppose someone displaying the Torah or the Koran in such a manner is wrong, being both based on an incorrect assumption on your part and indicative of your own bigotry.

Your lack of understanding of both the law and military regulations, which are clear in this matter, betrays both your ignorance and your willingness to cast aspersions based on your own belief system. Neither becomes you.

Mike Farrell
(MRFF Board of Advisors)
