Mr. Weinstein/MRFF Staff,

I am an active duty Non-commissioned Officer in the United States Army, serving for nearly ten years.

I became aware of your organization about two years ago. Reading the information on the website and seeing all of the progress you and MRFF have made got me thinking about my own potential involvement.

After many years of quietly accepting Chaplain Benedictions at ceremonies and prayers before meals and exercises etc., I don’t feel like just sitting back and dealing with it as an Atheist minority. Those activities actually offend me now.

What I would like to see is a change in the religious climate within the Army. In the past I have been concerned with appearing rebellious or insubordinate, but I am at the point where I don’t really care about that anymore.

I would like nothing more than to see these evangelists forced to shut up and face facts about actual religious freedom.

Religious freedom in the Army seems to mean freedom of Christian denomination.

How can I assist the MRFF?

I look forward to your response,

(name withheld)
