There are many religions but only one true God, the Lord God of Abraham Issac and Jacob. The others are false God’s who are made by man yet you give them the same status. Someday you will see the God of Israel  and you will have to face the damage you have done.

….Hi there, (name withheld)……we at MRFF “give them the same status” beCAUSE that is what our U.S. Constitution requires and guarantees via the First Amendment and Clause 3 of Article 6, as well as TONS of Federal and State caselaw and a plethora of DoD directives, instructions and regulations…and, umm (name withheld), who the HELL are YOU to decide what is a “true God” and what is a false God”?!?!…..seriously, did you REALLY make that idiotic statement?……
…also, brother, you REALLY need to do your homework more…  The Military Religious Freedom Foundation is a large secular civil rights organization representing almost 62,000 members of the military, 95% of them are Christians themselves… MRFF also represents 14 veterans who came to it asking for it to represent them in the matter at the New Hampshire VA hospital… Most of the 14 veterans happen to be Christian as well… About 450 people, paid and volunteers, work at MRFF & about 80% are Christians… Please do your homework before you start throwing stones… Otherwise you’re wasting your time and my time…oh, and your threats about what will happen to me “someday” are well noted….I’m not too worried though…..if by chance it turns out that there IS a God, I think she or he will be fair….

Mr. (name withheld),
This will acknowledge receipt of your personal religious belief testimony.
For your information, world history confirms early civilizations created their own deities which their cultures perpetuate. Each claims the truth to the exclusion of all others. Naturalist religions deified elements, animals & humans. Egalitarian religions deified children, women & men. Matriarchal religions deified women & motherhood. Patriarchal religions deified only males. Here are some self-evident truths for your consideration:
1. If horses had a god, it would resemble a horse.
2. If triangles had a god, it would be three-sided.
3. When a god is exclusively male, males are gods.
4. If a god made males in its image, males returned the favor.
5. If a god had revealed itself to & been reported by women instead of men, Mother Nature would be worshiped rather than Father God.
6. A mortal who claims certainty about an immortal god has a mortal agenda.
Here is some worldly wisdom for your consideration:
“Man is the Religious Animal. He is the only Religious Animal. He is the only animal that has the True Religion – several of them.” – America icon Mark TWAIN
“God enters by private door into every individual.” – American essayist Ralph Waldo EMERSON
“Whoever imagines himself a favorite with God, holds other people with contempt. Whenever a man believes that he has the exact truth from God, there is in that man no spirit of compromise. He has not the modesty born of the imperfections of human nature; he has the theological certainty and the tyranny born of ignorant assurance.” – American military commander & conservative Republican statesman Robert INGERSOLL

Disabled American Veteran (Vietnam Era)

Hi (name withheld),

Not quite sure what you’re talking about here, but it’s apparent that we’ve done something of which you don’t approve. If there’s more you have to say we’ll be happy to try to respond appropriately, or perhaps I should say as appropriately as possible.

I realize it may be that you’ve made your statement, are satisfied with it and will leave it at that. In that case, we’ll do the same.
