(name withheld), your presumptuous protest is morally misdirected. It would be more rationally redirected at those who disrespect & disregard our US Constitution, American law & US Armed Forces regulations rather than at those of us who respect & request compliance with them.

I’m great!  You’re the one that gets sideways about people’s religions.  I don’t let the believers bother me.  You are a professional pest.
By the way, how did you know my wife punished me last night?  The old Cat O’ Nine tails is a great way to bring in the new year.

Omniscience is one of the great advantages of being on the right side of history & on the right side of civil rights, skippy!

Hi (name withheld),
No perhaps about it, re: Mikey. But perhaps in your next life you’ll be awake.
We’re always ready with the facts, if you’re open enough to hear them.

Who I am is clearly shown at the end of my response below to the egregious email you sent to our Military Religious Freedom Foundation Founder & President.

You sure do like waving those credentials around.  But you should consider going easy on that – it is unbecoming and quite priggish.

Mike & Mikey,

That sounds like a radio duo that makes Three Stooges sounds – “nyuk, nyuk, nyuk”.

Of course if you ever wake up, or maybe it’s grow up, the offer stands.

Try this: we don’t care about Jesus candy. We care about the government being put in the position of promoting a religious viewpoint. It’s fine with us if people or stores want to sell this stuff, it’s just not OK for the government to be involved in it because it’s a violation of First Amendment protections. The separation of church and state is a long and deeply important legal position that fundamentalists and dominionists continue to try to chip away at.

You’re welcome to your atheism in this country because of these protections. Our concern is not about favoring or opposing one belief or another, it’s about protecting everyone’s right to believe or not believe as they choose. Our focus is the military because that’s an area that is targeted by zealots.
