Chaplains prayers

According to what i read from the CATHOLIC league’s reporting , It seems that the prayers were generic…Asking God for help hardly seems to be over zealous and worthy of a fight…We want you to be safe Micky…Rethink your position.  You will be in my prayers. Stay safe and healthy.

Please be advised the US Constitution, American law & US Armed Forces regulations prohibit our secular military, as part of our secular government, from promoting or endorsing a religion except in military chapel or military chaplain channels (e.g. military chaplain Facebook pages). Military chaplains may not proselytize their religion version on official military channels (e.g. commander, unit or installation Facebook pages) which are strictly secular. Military chaplains are advised & aware of this legal restriction. That is why the unlawful practice was stopped by the military itself after complaints by military members, including Christians.
Thank you for your civil communication. Please take care & stay safe.

Hi (name withheld),
The problem is the Catholic report was distorted, full of mischaracterization and lied about Mikey Weinstein.
The prayers were taken down because they belonged on the Chaplain’s page, not on the Commander’s page.
